OVERVIEW

This role is for an experienced reporter for CNBC Asia’s digital team, who is attuned to researching and writing up stories and blog posts ranging from individual stock movements to sector trends, as well as global economics and financial markets. You must be able to cover a range of global and Asian stories centred on finance, economics and geopolitics. You should be comfortable writing up breaking news, as well as market movers, short-news analysis, and long-form features for CNBC.com under tight deadlines.

As a digital reporter, you are also an expert in producing stories using a content management system, pitch story ideas, report and write original news stories for a fast-paced, business and financial news website.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write fast and accurate news copy for financial markets, including stocks, bonds, foreign exchange, cryptocurrencies, and macroeconomics for Asia Pacific

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
