Managing project site progress and matters

The Project Manager duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• To lead the site construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work
• Responsible for daily execution of work at site, according to schedule
• To supervise and guide subordinates on checking of work to meet the material and workmanship requirements
• To plan ahead of schedule so that site problems can be resolved before they have impact on cost, overall schedule and quality.
• To chair WSH committee and attend site meetings
• To ensure that all problems and requirement of customer are being attended.
• To ensure his subordinates are observing Company’s Policies
• To review and approve plant/material requisition.
• Responsible for the authorization of site purchases and rental
• To carry out any assignments which may be given from time to time by the Management.
• To administer changes to the contract with the contracts department
• Follow up on customer complaints. Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.
• Take reasonably practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at the workplace.
• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site
• Ensure full compliance of MOM safety rules and conduct periodic safety inspections on safety performance of all subcontractors.
• Active participation in conducting Risk Assessment
• Ensure briefing/re-briefing of RA to workers by supervisor.
• Authorized to stop work at any time for any unsafe work.
• Review and revised RA
• Implement necessary control measures to mitigate the unsafe work and to prevent recurrence.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director.
• Minimum 5 years working experience as Project Manager, Degree holder.

We are looking to hire a VMware Operations Support (L3) Specialist to support our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank.

Responsibilities:

• At least 4-5 years of hands-on Experience and advance knowledge on VMWare, VMware Horizon and Windows OS (server and workstation)
• Strong Professional track record with hands on experience of technical hands-on Operations work - VMware Hypervisors, Clusters, Networking, DataStore vSAN, Horizon, vSphere, vRA, vRO etc
• Strong Technical and Operational Knowledge in financial industry
• At least 3-5 years’ of experience in Operations for BAU and initiatives

Requirements:

• Advance knowledge on VMware Products, VDI, Horizon view client/Agent – Vmware. Hypervisors, Clusters, Networking, Horizon connection server, vSphere, vRA, vRO
• Deep knowledge of tools for troubleshooting VMware and Microsoft technologies
• Systrack, Splunk, processmon, trace log collection and dump log analysis.
• Advance scripting knowledge for inventory, reporting, log collection, remote debugging, and troubleshooting. PowerShell, python etc.
• Ability to drive root cause analysis preparation and meeting SLA for RCA submission along with planning and implementing fixes / patches.
• Sound knowledge of incident management process for large scale organization requiring multiple team engagement.
• Experience in supporting end users in L3 capacity– Upgrade, Migration projects.
• Customer-facing experience as a technical operations specialist, with strong oral and written communication skills, presenting to both large and small audiences.
• Ability to handle operations involving multiple technologies. Virtualization, OS, real time communication, collaboration, Managed print services and Mobility.
• Utilize the Incident and change in process management reporting system to monitor and track changes.

• Responsible for all project execution matters, from contract award until delivery of goods.
• Handle the execution of projects in the areas of engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Main point of contact for the project (initiate, check, confirm, decide, instruct, expedite, follow-up).
• Manage technical/commercial reviews, clarifications with various internal departments, suppliers and local / international customers.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in EPC environment.
• Good knowledge in process plant design and process plant management.

• Steel Structure and metal works experience is a plus;
