About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on front-office post-trade systems and Calypso platform-related enhancements. This role is integral to driving system improvements, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless operations across the trade lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial systems, a solid understanding of financial assets, and a proven track record in AGILE methodologies. Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis & Solution Design:Analyze business requirements for system enhancements and propose effective solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Incident and Request Management:Manage and resolve incidents, requests, and issues related to front-office post-trade systems and Calypso platforms.
Troubleshoot, identify, and fix bugs or system inefficiencies to minimize operational disruptions.
- Testing & Validation:Coordinate and conduct user acceptance tests (UAT) to validate the functionality of system enhancements.
Ensure thorough testing processes and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and end-users, to deliver seamless solutions.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Qualifications and Skills
- Technical Expertise:Experience with front-office post-trade systems and/or Calypso platforms is mandatory.
Strong understanding of financial assets (e.g., derivatives, fixed income, equities) and the trade lifecycle.
- Methodologies & Tools:Proven track record of working within AGILE frameworks, including sprints, user stories, and iterative delivery.
Familiarity with issue-tracking and project management tools such as JIRA or similar.
- Problem-Solving:Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and fix complex system issues efficiently.
- Soft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology or an IT-related field.
- Experience in financial services or a similar industry.
- Prior involvement in large-scale system implementations or upgrades.
- Certification in AGILE (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP).
