The Finance Business Partner team is an agile, highly visible team that works using a consultative model with business to apply data to business and finance decisions as well as measure performance.

We are looking for a Finance leader, who is a problem solver with great communication skills. You will provide financial insights that enables the business partners to plan, prioritize investments, execute and manage performance.

You are both a player and coach, providing financial thought partnership and analytical support to partners. This is a high visibility role where you will keep senior management informed on performance and support decision making, business reviews, strategy/execution projects, and ad hoc analysis.

What a Director, Finance Business Partner – Merchant Sales & Acquiring (MS&A) does at Visa:

• Primary Finance support for MS&A function
• Establish and maintain excellent working partnerships with the MS&A function head and leadership teams.

Why this is important to Visa

The FBP will be part of one of the key functions in Visa and plays a critical role in supporting MS&A function from a finance support standpoint.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business.

The Acceptance team is part of the Merchant Sales and Acquiring (MS&A) hub organization. This is a team of thought leaders and execution-focused specialists who deploy acceptance growth initiatives and seller-side solutions to catalyze acceptance growth across Asia Pacific. The team is also the regional co-ordination point and interface into the global verticals and segments and drives the overall strategy for Small/Medium Business (SMB).

As a key member of this team based in Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering on Acceptance opportunities within the SMB space. The Teamhead Project Management Business Solutions is responsible for the SAP migration projects from R/3 to S/4 Fashion within the PUMA SEAOIN region (South East Asia, India, Oceania). - Measure project performance through established KPIs and report to management on a regular basis.

Task 3:

Support the Program Manager in Project Management Office (PMO) to perform regular review of the project plan and update where required to meet the changing project requirements with the approval of the Project Sponsor. Communicate project plan updates to all project stakeholders.

Task 4:

Work closely with PMO and project stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and manage project risks in an effective manner with a particular focus on topics along the critical pathway with strong interdependencies across workstreams. Act as the first gate keeper in problem solving and only escalate to management if required (e.g., decision making)

Ensure project best practices and document management:

- Define and establish best practices and processes for projects to enable cross-functional departments/ teams to readily manage and deliver on assigned/identified workstreams.

• Partner with regional business heads and country managers in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Develop financial plans based on an in-depth understanding of business needs, with the objective of achieving growth and profitability targets.
• Oversee financial and information analysis, measure the financial impact from a broad range of variables and key indicators.
• Compile and present financial data to evaluate business performance, and provide informed recommendations.
• Driving the Business to meet target KPIs by providing proactive insights to highlight opportunities for improvement to support decision making (e.g. pricing)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• In collaboration with the Managing Director, Occupier Services | APAC and local Occupier Leads, develop a consistent client engagement strategy across the occupier service lines to create strong relationships, financial opportunities & outcomes.
• Act as the lead public figure in client communication to build C-level relationships across the most profitable and targeted accounts.
• Support in developing a highly capable localised teams through competitor talent attraction and internal capability building.
• Deliver a consistent message around our service proposition across the Asia market.
• In collaboration with the Research Department, create consistent Occupier relevant thematic reporting.
• Expand the scope of the centralised service lines which include Lease Administration, Enterprise Project Management and Portfolio Consulting.

• Be the APAC lead on Enterprise Clients globally, through regular global conference calls and pitches with the UK & EMEA colleagues.
• Actively engage and with Corenet and be the Colliers leader.
• In collaboration with the Business Development Centre, drive the bid response regionally for all Enterprise pitches.
• Oversee the pricing regionally for all Enterprise Clients.

• Develop display components (display panels, touch sensors, cover glass, etc.) in Automotive products (digital clusters, display solutions, and head-up displays).
• Development includes technical requirements definition, concept creation, architecture design, deviation review and negotiation with supplier, design review, performance evaluation/optimization, specification creation, failure analysis and support part qualification till mass production.
• Define, align and track display components’ development milestones & schedule, and budget to ensure deliveries to customers.
• Manage and lead in display component-related technical discussion with suppliers and internal project team members.
• Prepare engineering documentation, specifications and reports.
• Follow both project implementation and quality management rules in realization of the display components.
• Develop new display / touch panel technologies in preparation for application in future Automotive products.
• Work closely with supplier quality management and category management in new supplier development and introduction.

Your Mission

• Know exactly where SLAs and our metrics stand at any given time

• Create regular health reports for stakeholders and have a full understanding of the status of our queues, ready to articulate to our stakeholders

• Understand our forecasts and be able to iterate with your expertise and provide recommendations on how we can improve

• Introduce alternative forecasts when asked, based on the situation

You will work closely with your teammates, with other related teams in the same division, with back-office users, with clients, and with partners. You will help provide innovative solutions to meet market demands and help shape the back-office landscape of tomorrow.

 
Your key tasks

• Analyse and address inquiries about the Corporate Actions and Settlement module
• Subject matter expert possessing the relevant business knowledge to provide hands-on support
• Proficient in MT54x and MT56x SWIFT MT messages and their corresponding SESE and SEEV SWIFT MX messages
• Understands front to back functionality surrounding various Corporate Action Events (CAEV) such as Dividends, Spin-Off, Rights Offer, Distribution, Stock Split, etc.
• Independently create complete system requirements specifications and provide / validate effort estimates concerning new enhancements.
• Act as liaison between Avaloq, customers, and 3rd-party providers for the development, implementation, and enhancement of existing solutions
• Implement modules of the Avaloq Banking Suite
• Provide consulting services regarding functionalities in your areas of responsibility
