-Responsible for reviewing of lease documents, contracts, and tenancy schedule prepared by the team.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE  

The Infopro Digital Business Development Manager position is a team-oriented, quota carrying role that will focus on revenue generation for the Global Financial Market brands, specifically selling our Risk.Net, FX Markets and Waters Technology products to clients globally. This   role will sell enterprise access to our subscriptions and memberships to new clients, whilst working alongside the Account Management team to ensure clients buy our full suite of products.   The Business Development Manager will work with an entrepreneurial mindset that demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and a sense of urgency.  

You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop strategic initiatives that support the company’s objectives in the financial services industry. You will be expected to leverage your expertise and networks to generate leads, close high-value deals, and expand the company's footprint in key global markets. 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute a strategic business development plan that aligns with the company's goals and targets in the global financial market. 
• Sales and Negotiation: Lead the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiations, ensuring the successful closure of deals. This includes conducting presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to the needs of financial institutions 
• Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and existing client expansion 
• Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across global financial markets, focusing on investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, fintech firms, and other financial institutions. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, legal, compliance, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of contracts, onboarding, and service delivery.

• Reporting and Analytics: Regularly report on business development progress, sales pipeline, and market insights to senior leadership. Use CRM and other tools to track and manage sales activity and opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Deputy Director to manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives;
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, and deployment management activities;
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence;
• Liaise with the project team, site staff and contractors to conduct regular site meetings and inspections for a project progress update and monitoring of quality;
• Liaise with the relevant authorities to meet permits and licensing requirements;
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project;
• Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes;
• Monitor staff performance and complete performance views;
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership;
• Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders;
• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards;
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or HOD.

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
• Minimum 2 year of experience in constructions or civil engineering
• Those with experience in underground utilities
• especially Cable/ water/gas pipes will be advantageous
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Service-oriented client relationship and people
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• 6 days work week
• Working location: Sungei Kadut (with company transportation provided at Woodlands and Kranji MRT Station)

Responsible for the successful and effective project management inclusive of planning, implementation, execution, scheduling, monitoring and handover within specified schedule, budget and meeting client’s quality and relevant regulatory requirements

- Critical scrutiny of contract documents and drawings, communicate effectively and negotiate with consultants, clients, authorities, main and sub -contractors on engineering, contractual matters and project implementation

- Assists in ensuring that shop drawings are completed and submissions to the main contractor are carried out in a timely manner with drafting department

- Understand contract documentation in conjunction with Bills of Quantity ( B. Q. ) and material specifications

- Responsible for budget controls, tracking of expenditures and effectively manage and reduce the costs of delivering projects

- Ensure health and safety and regulatory compliance in accordance with all applicable and permit standards and requirements

- Attends project kick-off meetings, ongoing meetings and project closure meetings with main contractor, consultants and other parties

- Responsible for the submission of monthly progress claims and reports to the main contractor

- Assist in monitoring project cost budgets and ensuring that desired profit margins are achieved through cost containment, material wastage control and etc

- Any other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board ( PEB ) Singapore will be an advantage

- Minimum six ( 06 ) years of relevant project management experience in local construction industry

- Posses excellent leadership, planning, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills to lead a team of engineers and manage the sub-contractors

- Able to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines / vision

- Highly motivated, driven by excellence and having an eye for details

- Proficient in MS Project

- Able to commence work on a short notice will be an advantage

- Should be contactable by means of mobile phone at any time of the day

- Ability to multi-task and manage ad-hoc projects in a fast-paced environment

* HANDS ON IN PROVIDING TRAINING ESPECIALLY TO NEW WORKERS;

* IDENTIFY WORKERS STRENGTH AND RECOMMEND FOR UPGRADING FOR DESERVING ONES;

Job Description:-

• Assist in managing the overall project from concept to completion, including support in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with stakeholders, while following the Project Quality Plan, Safety Management Plan, and Building Execution Plan.
• Assist in the preparation and management of project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and weekly progress reports.
• Work with design engineers for as-built drawings, section drawings.
• Supervise and monitor workers / welders on site for installation or maintenance.
• attend site meetings with clients / architects and authorities on project technical matters.

Requirements:-

• Minmum Diploma in either mechanical, Electrical or Construction Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Required skill(s), MS Office, MS Project AutoCad.
• Has work experience in construction sites.
• Responsible team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines.

• Attend site meetings, inspections, and monitoring of project progress with the Main Contractor.
• Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk
• Other scopes of work to be assigned by the Managing Director
• Liaise with other departments to ensure information, materials or other resources to ensure project progress
• Any other tasks deemed necessary by the company related to the execution of projects

Project Management

• To resolve all technical and non-technical issues.
• To ensure the tracking and monitoring of items per contractual requirement.
• Responsible for submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method statements and proposals.
• To ensure construction meeting client & regulatory requirements.
• To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress.
• To co-ordinate, program and monitor site work, materials, plant & equipment.
• Carry out project objectives to align with company goals.
• Reduce material wastages on site and maximise usage of machineries/equipment.
• To control the allocated direct workforce effectively i.e. no. of direct workers and overtime etc.
• Follow approved construction method that is cost effective, productive & without compromising on Quality.
• Meet targeted progress of works so as to achieve the intended cash flow.

Technical Understanding

• Understands the drawings and scope of works
• Understand the implications of different technical choices so as to meet the project objectives.
• Involving in providing value engineering solutions basing on his knowledge.
• To have knowledge in the preparation of engineering project proposals and method statements.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (Recognized by PEB).
• Experience in leading a team or subcontractors would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills.
• Highly committed and motivated individual.
• Versed in PUB(WRN) projects with more than 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is an advantage.
• Candidate with comparable qualification will be considered for Project Manager post.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate staff training with HR such as Coretrade, Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC), BCA bracket license, etc.
• Distribute letters and documents from HR/Finance department to the workers.
• Help workers to check on their HRIS account with HR. (e.g. payslip, password access, etc).
• Compile Risk Assessment (RA) documents in softcopy and hardcopy.
• Call customers to change aircon installation timings when needed.
• Prepare service reports through email when required.
• New workers registration - thumbprint, dormitory, safety shoes.
• Follow-up with HR and Finance on worker's OT claim, parking claim, medical claim, etc.
• Prepare incident report on vehicle accident and work injuries when needed.
• Compile Warranty Service Repair Installation (WSRI) and update in CRM system.
• Tracking of procurement of equipment, materials and tools.
• Handle project administrative works including progress claims, payments, purchase orders, delivery orders, tax invoices, etc.
• Tracking of manpower deployment onsite and between projects.
• Handle all other administrative works which may be assigned by project manager and engineers.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

REQUIREMENTS

• Secondary or equivalent certificate.
• 2 years’ working experience, preferably in construction related.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
