POSITION PROFILE:
The Product Planning Engineer will drive improvements in the MLCC manufacturing process (post-process) and product quality, efficiency, and manufacturing costs through specialized knowledge of processes and products. This role includes providing technical training to local engineers focused on the post-processing aspects of MLCC manufacturing.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Policy and Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with Japan HQ or other affiliate companies to align policies and strategies for project initiatives.
• Problem Solving Meetings:Initiate periodic meetings with Japan HQ or other affiliates to address issues within the division effectively.
• Quality Improvement:Enhance the quality of MLCC products by focusing on post-process improvements.
• Cost Reduction Initiatives: Propel efforts to reduce costs associated with MLCC products while maintaining quality standards.
• Efficiency Enhancements:Improve the efficiency of MLCC manufacturing post-process operations.
• Technology Transfer:Facilitate the transfer of new technologies from Japanese factories to Singapore factory.
• Bridge Between Teams: Serve as a liaison between Japanese factories and related R&D departments, ensuring timely access to necessary information for effective implementation into MES factory.
• Technology Grasping & Proposals: Stay abreast of new technologies; propose improvements in quality, cost, efficiency, and safety based on this knowledge.
• Technical Training Organization:Organize and deliver technical training sessions for local engineers focusing on best practices in post-process.

Ability/Competency required:

• Master degree in engineering field
• At least 2 years working experience in electronics manufacturing industry
• Deep & specialized technical knowledge in plating process and to be able to fully utilize it in actual job for improvement
• Fluent in Japanese and English language to liaise with Japan factories & R&D departments

The Global Demand Planner will lead the demand planning process for our Instrument Manufacturing Center of Excellence, ensuring accurate and efficient demand forecasts across multiple product lines, manufacturing processes, aggregation levels and time horizons. The Global Demand Planner will liaise with many functions including sales, marketing, finance, and operations to obtain product and market intelligence throughout the product and order lifecycle which influences demand and transform this into actionable insight and plans. This individual is a key participant in the execution of the S&OP process – building strong collaboration to build robust demand plan and deliver our commitment to stakeholders and customers. This role will champion new demand planning and S&OP processes and drive data-driven decision making in the planning processes.

Position Responsibilities/Duties:

• Participates in all aspects of Sales and Operations Planning including providing leadership of the process when required.
• Supports the assessment of impact related to various demand and supply chain scenarios across the order fulfillment process.
• Supports the development of risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Collaborates with Order Management, Customer Operations and Supply Operation teams to address urgent customer orders and material shortages.
• Ensures that customer requirements are understood by all stakeholders. Supports the identification and analysis of gaps between demand and product availability, providing actionable insights to support business objectives and optimize our customer fulfillment metrics.
• Analyze historical sales trends, cycles, and seasonality, integrate sales and marketing inputs, develop & train forecasting model, and prepare detailed forecast data. Develop and refine statistical forecasts that incorporates all sources of demand including but not limited to new product introduction, refurbishment, support, demo, warranty, and trade sources. Reconcile significant variances and adjust models to reflect updated sales and market assumptions, working towards achievement of a consensus forecast.
• Ensures solid documentation of monthly demand adjustments and assumptions by plant, product family, and sales. Communicates demand changes to relevant stakeholders and prepares for questions that may be posed during demand reviews,
• Tracks and reports monthly forecast accuracy as well as other operational reports published by the Planning group.
• Supports the development and implementation of new planning policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures.
• Supports ramp-up / ramp-down demand planning for New Product Introductions, version changes, and obsolescence.
• Analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Material Master data for accuracy and adjusts system parameters to achieve desired results. Adjusts and determines use of system parameters to achieve desired results.
• Consults with management on long-range goals and business objectives.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelors, Masters, University Degree or equivalent in business or technically related field.
• Experience in manufacturing & supply chain for high-mix-low volume, and/or, life-science instrument products is preferred.
• Experience in advanced analytics and/or AI/ML models is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in leading demand planning as part of the Sales & Operations Planning process, managing the development of demand forecasts, developing statistical forecasts, and evaluating forecast results or related experience.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
• SAP or related ERP experience.

• Possess a deep understanding of network protocols, risk management, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze network traffic patterns, identify bottlenecks, and track performance to proactively address issues and optimize network efficiency.
• Actively participate in network audits and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the Bank's APAC network adheres to bank rules and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish and enforce network operational procedures, supervise the Network Operations team, review KPIs, and ensure SLAs are met.
• Manage vendors and service providers, including MSAs and SAs, to optimize service reliability and cost-efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on network planning and service-related matters, such as DR drills, third-party risk management, asset management, lifecycle management, privilege access management, and patch management.
• Oversee the design and architecture of the network to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Possess a strong understanding of network budget planning, including Capex and Opex.
• Develop and maintain network performance reports for management review.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience as a Network Operations Lead or Senior Network Engineer.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in network planning, design, and implementation.
• CCNP/CCDP, ITIL, or equivalent certifications. CCIE certification is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, risk management, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven hands-on experience in network deployment for large enterprises and data centers.
• In-depth knowledge of IP routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, QoS, and VPC.
• Proficient with Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5, or equivalent network devices.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in the banking or financial industry is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of IP routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, QoS, and VPC.
