Responsibilities:

• Responsible to assist the on-site delivery of SCADA projects and local O&M response.
• To accept the guidance and work arrangement of delivery team, jointly complete the on-site delivery and acceptance of the project.
• To assist the O&M team to support the local after-sales service of the project
• Project Delivery - Responsible for Renewable (Wind, Storage, Solar) site SCADA project implementation, including but not limited to SCADA software deployment, data acquisition testing, SCADA data verification, filing of project documents and handover to O&M team.

Requirements:

Job Purpose

The Manager ensures that all mechanical and electrical projects are completed successfully, meeting client requirements, safety standards and within the allocated budget and timeline. The Manager is instrumental in coordinating all aspects of the project from planning to execution, to deliver a reliable and functional mechanical, electrical or a combination of both systems.

Responsibilities

1) Project Planning – The Manager is involved in the planning phase of the projects, collaborating with other stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, timelines and budget constraints. He/she work to understand the specific requirements of the project and create a comprehensive project plan.

2) Design and Engineering – The Manager is responsible for collaborating with the design team or design vendor(s) to ensure that the designs are well-engineered and meet the necessary technical specifications. He/she needs to understand electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams and other technical documentation.

3) Procurement – The Manager may e required to be involved in the procurement of necessary equipment, materials and components that are required for the project. He/she will have to ensure that the materials meet quality standards and are delivered on time to the work site.

4) Safety and Compliance – Safety is of utmost importance for Donjon Pte Ltd. The Manager ensures that all work is carried out following safety regulations and industry best practices. They also ensure that the work complies with relevant codes and standards.

5) Resource Management – The Manager is responsible for coordinating resources, including general labour, equipment and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. He/she will be required to handle scheduling and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.

6) Quality Control – Throughout the project, the Manager monitors the quality of work being done, conducts inspections and ensures that the work meet the required quality standards.

7) Problem Solving – In the course of the project(s), unexpected challenges and issues may arise. The Manager plays a crucial role in identifying and resolving these problems to keep the project on track.

8) Communication – The Manager serves as a point of contact between various stakeholders, including clients, project managers/director, contractors and the engineering team. They provide regular updates on project progress, address concerns and facilitate effective communication.

9) Documentation – Keeping detailed records and documentation of the project’s progress is essential. The Manager maintains accurate documentation including reports, drawings, change orders and other relevant paperwork. He/she will also have to ensure that project charges are correctly represented for accounting’s closing process.

Person Specification/Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in M&E projects or equivalent

Requirements:

Experience: at least 12-15 years of directly relevant working experience in residential and commercial development projects with strong and reputable developers; proven track record in managing real estate projects in Singapore and China is a must; some exposure to the Indonesian real estate domain preferred.

Technical competencies in either one or two of the three technical domains: (a) Design Management, (b) Cost and Contract Management; and/or (c) Site Management.

Leadership quality and maturity to lead and grow a team of specialists cross different technical domains, ideally with a track record of building and managing a team of project managers; a team player with strong individual drive, sense of responsibility and task ownership.

Communication skill to manage and coordinate works across different technical domains both internally and externally.
