What you’ll do

We are an acquisition team specialising in the offshore market. Our team works closely with internal and external partners to acquire new-to-bank corporate entities that are foreign owned (offshore). The scope of the Strategic Investments and Business Development function at Olam Agri covers M&A, greenfield investments, divestments, joint ventures, and strategic initiatives. As a key member of the SIBD team, the Manager will play a critical role in supporting the growth strategy of Olam Agri. This role will provide music business affairs support for our Content, Marketing, and PR teams covering Southeast Asia, Australia/New Zealand, and Chinese-language projects. A substantial part of the role will be overseeing, managing, and scaling the music clearance workflow for film and series content and for marketing and PR campaigns, from project conceptualization to launch. The role includes clearing music tracks with multiple rights holders, from quote, through negotiation, to signature–and, if clearance is not feasible, suggesting alternative tracks. In addition, the role will advise on a wide range of music matters, including CMO requirements, while keeping in mind the strategic goals of the company.
