A) Project Management Strategy & Delivery

• Organize project management process, define roles and responsibilities of different parties, identify various partners and channel to source the right talent for the project
• Accurate and efficient scheduling considering all project variables and buffer time

B) Stakeholder Relationship Management

• Take responsibility to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and project team to manage expectations and improve scheduling, pricing and quality.

• Demonstrable experience in project management of high rise condominium projects

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of their projects. Projects can range from several small to medium projects or on one very large project. The Technical Project Manager leads and manages a team of project managers, and assistant project managers to deliver exceptional results for our clients. The position proactively develops new business opportunities and relationships with current and potential customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Establish and maintain a complete delivery schedule from preconstruction to the final handover in alignment with the overall construction project.
• Establish budgets, progress billing, change order management, and progress billing with vendors and clients and prepare cost reporting.
• Establishing and conducting weekly meetings with the client and DWC leadership to review budgets, schedules and overall project status.
• Respond to customer inquires and requests in a timely manner.
• Publish high level reports and detailed meeting minutes to the entire team.
• Provide mentoring and training to all direct reports, project managers, project engineers and other support staff.
• Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project, maintaining a running log for long lead items.
• Maintain a current log and repository for construction documentation such as: drawings, submittals, customer standards documentation, and engineering specifications.
• Other duties and projects as assigned and needed.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction. And or a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
• PE license a plus
• OSHA 30 and CPR training preferred
• Data Center experience a plus
