Key Responsibilities

1. Provides comprehensive technical and management support on all technical projects assigned by the Asset Manager. Typically class I & II capex projects. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Prepare project details, scope engineering documents and cost estimate for the execution of the capex program together with (main) contractors and other departments and disciplines
• Prepare Requests for Quotation and other procurement documents in close cooperation with Stolthaven’s procurement team

• o Proactively identifies technical risks in projects and seeks for mitigation
• o Providing assistance in the formation of annual capital budget forecasts
• o Ensure all systems within the facility are designed, installed, and maintained in accordance to local, state and federal regulations and standards

3. Support or promote innovations, new products and methods by:

• Meeting with vendors to acquire knowledge to technical advancement, cost control and alternate solutions to typical terminal design and maintenance requirements

Qualifications

1. Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, E&IA, Civil or related field

2. Proven track record in an engineering design position, preferably in the field of storage tanks or in a related industry

3. Must be familiar with all applicable standards and codes relating to bulk liquid storage facilities for the applicable terminal location. This could include IEC, API, EEMUA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and CFR and any other (local) codes.

4. Project management experience is preferred field

5. Minimum 5 years progressive engineering experience in terminal or related industry

6. Minimum 10 years progressive experience in terminal or related industry may be accepted in lieu of a degree
