Requirement

Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in a Technical, Supply Chain, or Business related field and 4-10 years of experience in a supply chain related field. Should have direct experience in and extensive knowledge of supply chain business processes and process management techniques.

Established in 2010, the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It performs translational research that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions, motivated by industrialisation and deployment. ERI@N has multiple Interdisciplinary Research Programmes which focus on translational Research, Development & Deployment which focus on specific area of the energy value chain, and a number of Living labs and Testbeds which facilitate large scale technology deployment enabling validation and demonstration of real-world applications.

We are looking for a Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Synthesis and characterization of battery materials and fabrication. Precipitation, characterization and purity analysis of products by various characterization techniques
• Carry out optimization of the equipment and SOP of various processes for batteries
• Strategies and experiments related to recycling and upcycling of batteries including lab management
• Scoping of recycling strategies and innovation in battery recycling
• Prototyping activities including proof of concept demonstration of successful processes
• Responsible for project goals, deliverables, and objectives of the company project
• Preparing and delivering meeting presentations, notes, updates, and reports as per the request of the project

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Science (Materials/Chemical/Mechanical/Nanotechnology/Physics/Chemistry or equivalent)
• Experience in materials and extraction methods of metals from batteries
• Experience in prototyping of batteries and working with various battery systems.
• Widely experience in various materials synthesis techniques
• Experienced in materials characterization, electrochemical battery fabrication
• Ability to conceptualize and communicate research work to other staff, management, and visitors
• Knowledge of scientific or materials engineering software will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in the field of research is an added advantage
• An effective team player with good communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.

Who are You?

• Possess an Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience in the operation, maintenance of subsea production systems such as subsea christmas tree, wellhead systems, control systems will be an added advantage.
• 3-year's of technical or commercial experience from offshore O&G experience.
• Good understanding of major subsea equipment manufacturers and operators such as TFMC, Onesubsea, Petronas will be an added advantage.
• Driven, sales motivated and good business acumen
