Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Facilitate requirements workshops to engage the various stakeholders such as Front Office users to elicit and validate business requirements.
• Lead and manage issues, and ensure all requirements have proper traceability.
• Leverage the subject matter experts across technology and business in delivery of structured and well-thought through solutions.
• Become an effective “bridge” between users and technology.
• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational and technical considerations, and recommend sound solutions.
Required Experience
1. Education – Bachelors or higher degree preferably in Business and/or Computer Science
2. At least 5-6 years working as a Business Analyst.
3. Possess strong Treasury knowledge, with expertise in at least one asset class.
4. Must be organized, able to work with minimal supervision, flexible to switch and work on different projects and manage them in a timely manner.
5. Has experience working in projects on Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc) and/or waterfall methodology.
6. Drawing of process flow diagrams to identify existing problems and exploring opportunities.
7. Experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, test plan and test scenarios.
8. Experience in documenting and explaining business scenarios and produce functional specifications.
9. Basic Data Analytics using Excel and/or SQL, including but not limited to, data fetching, data joints, data wrangling, use of correct charts for different data visualization. Ability to explain what the data is telling you.
10. Root-cause analysis.
