Job Purpose

The Project Coordinator shall assists Project Manager in oversees the planning, implementation, execute, monitor and track projects from beginning till end with specified deliverables.

The role of the Project Coordinator will be able to learn and equip with a full suite of comprehensive exposure and knowledge on Project management that covers proposal, product sourcing, timeline management, cost and resource control and quality management.

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
• Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and updates.
• Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and report on financial status.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, regulations, and company quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee project activities to ensure timely and successful completion.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and implement safety protocols.
• Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
• Identify potential safety risks and implement preventive measures.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Support the preparation of quotations, bids, and tenders for new projects.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

• diploma in civil/Structural Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Building or equivalent awarded by BCA Academy, or such other diplomas or qualifications as approved by BCA.
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations (e.g., WSH/OHS standards).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Certification in safety practices (e.g., Safety Orientation, Risk Assessment) is a plus.
