The responsibilities of this role are:

• Support the division to drive the strategic planning (Long-term and annual planning) process and cascading plans across the institution
• Perform analysis to identify organisational effectiveness, strengths and weaknesses
• Coordinate, consolidate and integrate the different sources of information for communication to management and/or seed discussions at management meetings
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate and streamline work planning with resource planning
• Support in the development, review and communication of policies, frameworks and processes
• Support in the data analysis of key performance indicators for communication to management through regular updates/reports
• Support the division’s involvement in the preparation of the periodic reports to the management and Board of Trustees and government bodies
• Participate in working groups / projects (e.g., Data Security & Protection) and assist in the implementation of the initiatives
• Provide secretariat support for key management level meetings
• Preparation of presentation slides for Senior Management and materials for senior management-level meetings
• Any other projects or tasks as assigned

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline
• Relevant experience in strategic planning, policy development and formulation work preferred
