Shipyard repairs & dry-docking support

• Liaise with Vessel Managers and ship staff to ensure that the PMS program on each vessel is optimally utilized.
• Assist with the implementation of the PMS for new tonnage inducted into the Fleet.
• Ensure that the PMS are updated with new jobs as per the latest requirements from Classification Societies, Flag State Administrations, industry requirements, and sharing of best practices and experiences on the fleet.
• Provide PMS familiarisation and training to ship staff visiting the Office.
• Provide monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and statistics on the status of the PMS across the fleet to management.

Vessel performance monitoring systems

• Monitor functioning of the performance monitoring systems for fleet vessels. Facilitate regular and easy monitoring of speed and consumption performance of fleet vessels.
• Liaise with Vessel Managers and ship staff to ensure that the performance monitoring system on each vessel is optimally utilized and to resolve any concerns.
• Facilitate comparative study of performance across the fleet, using performance monitoring system.
• Enhancement of system to enable reporting and managing of newer performance aspects as new requirements are identified, and new regulations come into force.
• Identify scope to optimize energy management in the fleet, and recommend solutions.
• Assist with the implementation of the performance monitoring system and SEEMP for new tonnage inducted into the fleet.
• Assist the Vessel Manager for the monitoring of the EEOI on each ship.

Technical procedures & knowledge sharing

• Sharing learning on technical issues, as gained from operational experience within the fleet and knowledge from industry best practices & new regulatory requirements; with vessels and Technical Departments.
• Review & revise technical procedures for simplification and updating with latest experience and knowledge.
• Formulate technical alerts & circulars and contribute to periodic presentation sessions, for knowledge sharing.
• Audits of technical departments to ensure compliance to standards (provisions under HSSEQ, TMSA & Rightship).
• Identify deficiencies & scopes for improvement in compliance, and recommend measures for improvement.

Technical support

• To extend support to technical departments in following areas, based on requirements:

Education and qualification

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering with 10 years of experience in marine industry.

Experience

• Marine Engineering background with experience in one or more of following areas:

NES Fircroft has partnered with our client, a leading Oil & Gas company dedicated to innovation and providing comprehensive industrial solutions, to seek a Senior Project Engineer to join the team.

Main Duties:

Supervise & Coordinate project’s day to day activities including installation and coordination with consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.

Guide, provide inputs and comments, for the drafter to prepare installation plan drawings, detailed drawings for mechanical parts like piping layout, piping isometric drawing, pipe supports, process and mechanical plan drawings.

Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes, recommending actions.

Check, confirm all safety documents and issue work permits to contractors in collaboration with site safety officers, work permit requirements will be trained by in-house team

Assist project manager or procurement in charge in preparation of tender documentation, procurement specification and Bill of quantity.

Manage and coordinate vendors and suppliers during commissioning and testing of the equipment and systems.

Assist Project Manager in the preparation of project Capex, budget estimation and cost allocation.

Conduct Toolbox meetings with safety officers onsite and maintain records.

With sound knowledge of process piping installation and equipment installation.

Able to work with drafters to produce Piping drawings, installation drawings, details design.

Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or equivalent engineering education.

Experience:

1) Has work experience in Micron Semiconductor
2) Experience in running and leading project > S$10mil project
3) Good team player and communication skills
4) Good understanding in AutoCAD drawings and project work flow
5) Proficient in English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Deputy Director to manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives;
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, and deployment management activities;
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence;
• Liaise with the project team, site staff and contractors to conduct regular site meetings and inspections for a project progress update and monitoring of quality;
• Liaise with the relevant authorities to meet permits and licensing requirements;
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of the project;
• Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes;
• Monitor staff performance and complete performance views;
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership;
• Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders;
• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards;
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or HOD.

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
• Minimum 2 year of experience in constructions or civil engineering
• Those with experience in underground utilities
• especially Cable/ water/gas pipes will be advantageous
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• 6 days work week
• Working location: Sungei Kadut (with company transportation provided at Woodlands and Kranji MRT Station)

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Lead-to-Quote Process Governance:

• Govern the Lead-to-Quote process and ensure that it is standardized / implemented within the Group across all users of MS Dynamics.

Regional champions and market rollout:

• Act as an advocate for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, promoting its benefits and ensuring users understand how it can improve their productivity and workflow.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute CRM rollouts across multiple countries / legal entities, managing timelines, milestones, and stakeholders.
• Act as regional / legal entity champions, managing relationships with local teams to increase adoption of CRM system, foster alignment to global Standards while facilitating platform support requests.

Training and change management:

• Orchestrate training, support and implement feedback from end-users to maximize the user adoption and efficacy of the CRM system.
• Regularly communicate new features, updates, and tips for using the CRM system to maximize its value
• Build and nurture a community of CRM users in the responsible regions / LEs, encouraging the exchange of best practices and tips for efficient system usage.
• Collect and share user feedback to improve the CRM system and the user experience.

CRM Development and Continuous Improvement:

• Collaborate closely with platform operations team to deliver system enhancements and bug fixes to optimize the CRM platform for end users. Actively participate in gathering requirements, designing solutions and final testing and technical acceptance

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365) are a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in Technical Project management or Sales operations related role.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or a similar CRM system is advantageous.
• Experience with lead-to-quote process governance and CRM systems implementation is advantageous.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a global setting.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and lead training sessions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for CRM-related issues

ACMV Project Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administer contracts and documentation for ACMV systems.
• Prepare interim valuations, contract variation orders, payment claims, and final accounts.
• Source suppliers and subcontractors, and compile price comparisons for tenders and project costing.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant QS experience in ACMV systems.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong integrity and sense of responsibility.
• Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Preferably with experience in the construction industry, especially in ACMV system installation.
• Sound knowledge of ACMV systems, contract law, and local/international codes of practice/standards is an advantage.

• Assists in planning, organizing and carrying out project management activities to ensure that assigned projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner to achieve and exceed the cost, quality, timelines and customer satisfaction objectives;
• Assists to ensure that safety procedures are incorporated in all project management activities and takes initiatives to promote a safety working culture;
• Understands contract documentation in conjunction with B.Q. and material specifications;
• Assists in planning for site mobilization and work sequential execution;
• Assists in preparing works schedules and master programs;
• Assists in monitoring project cost budgets and ensuring that desired profit margins are achieved through cost containment, material wastage control, etc;
• Assists in ensuring project performance through close supervision, site checks, close monitoring of site progress and swift resolution of any quality and work schedule issues;
• Assists in ensuring that shop drawings are completed and submissions to the authorities are carried out in a timely manner with Drafting Department;
• Assists in conducting daily meetings with project team members and ensuring that latest changes are communicated to all project staff;
• Attends project kick-off meetings, ongoing meetings and project closure meetings with clients, consultants and other parties;
• Assists in conducting Mass Tool Box meeting with Safety personnel;
• Assists in tracking project performance closely to ensure that projects perform according to agreed schedule, quality and costs;
• Assists in ensuring effective compliance of contractual terms and the full and final settlement of project accounts;
• Assists in updating project development performance in monthly management meetings;
• Assists in ensuring that risk management is taken into account in all project management activities;
• Liaises with suppliers and sub-contractors on contractual matters;
• Assists in responding to consultants’ and requests from others in a pro-active and timely manner;
• Assists in the supervision and motivation of project team members and in promoting teamwork;
• Assists in the deployment of resources and maintenance of duty rosters;
• Liaises with relevant stakeholders effectively to execute the projects in a seamless manner and mitigates any issues that arise;
