JOB DESCRIPTION

• Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements, enhancements, and innovations to optimize project management practices
• Actively seek feedback from mentors, trainers, and project managers to identify areas for improvement and development
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to provide updates on project status, progress, and key milestones
• Act as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment on project objectives and expectations
• Assist project managers in planning and executing project activities, tasks, and deliverables
• Coordinate with project team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
• Participate in a structured training program to learn project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to develop skills in project planning, execution, monitoring, and control
• Learn how to use project management tools and software to manage project tasks, schedules, budgets, and resources

• Minimum Diploma and above
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement and Project groups to review the scope of work in terms of deliverables to be submitted to the client, to finalize schedules to be met, and utilize resources required as percontract.
• Perform schedule monitoring and updating of project schedule, preparation of periodic Progress Reports with commitments & forecasts. Propose corrective actions and follow-up.
• Prepare various Weekly/Monthly Progress Reports.
• Analyse Subcontractor’s progress report, identify and highlight schedule deviations and delay.

Education Qualifications and other Requirements

• Degree with extensive Project Control experience on major projects working in a contractor environment is preferable.
• Excellence in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and Primavera version 6 (and above) application is a must.
• Minimum 6 to 7 years planning & scheduling in EPC sector is a must.
• Familiar with standard software programs, developing S-Curve Schedule, bar-charts and manpower histogram is a must.

Skill Requirements

• Demonstrated success in past project involvement and technical delivery of medium to large size projects.
• Possesses wide and diversified knowledge of project control system, scheduling and planning techniques in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry, in particular EPC.
