The Foundations of Thermodynamics Group is a newly formed group in the School of Humanities at the Nanyang Technological University Singapore led by Nanyang Assistant Professor of Philosophy Eugene Y. S. Chua. It provides a space for research on all aspects of the conceptual foundations of thermodynamics, with particular focus on understanding the conceptual foundations of thermodynamics beyond the classical domain, e.g., in the quantum and relativistic domains, or how thermodynamics relates to other non-fundamental domains such as fluid dynamics and neuroscience.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Plan and control all activities pertaining to the effective daily maintenance and management of the condominium.

• Leads business development activities for the Levanta Platform across South East Asia

• Responsible on identifying new opportunities, developing relationships and evaluating suitability for Levanta.

• Lead or support work streams on projects related to strategy, competitive analysis, multi-year planning, business development, etc.

• Work closely with cross-functional and management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support.

Key Responsibilities/Outcome 1: Opportunity Identification

• Ensure Levanta is well known to all the market participants across SE Asian markets to ensure inbound deal flow for both greenfield or brownfield opportunities.

• Form JVs or sign JDAs with local partners or international developers to participate in auctions or new projects; take projects from development stage to auctions from a BD.

• Attend conferences and identify potential opportunities.

• Identify strong potential partners for Levanta and develop relationships.

• Keep up to date with market trends, regulatory developments, auction regimes and identify upcoming opportunities not yet in the market and prepare strategy around how Levanta could capitalise on these.

• Provide inputs and reformations to overall strategy of the business based on market trends and opportunities.

• Keep a clear and transparent record of business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities/ Outcome 2: New Projects

• Lead financial model preparation, incorporating risk analysis based on the PPA framework, submitting auction documents or documents required to get a PPA.

• PPA risk analysis, bankability analysis, competitor landscape mapping, recommending bidding strategies for auctions, gain market intelligence on competitor activity.

• Gathering inputs from various teams such as EPC prices, financing costs, O&M costs, project timelines, yield assumptions to analyse the commercial viability of new project sites or submitting bids for auctions.

• Signing and compliance of the PPA and other project documents.

• Preparation of board papers for new bids or devex spend and monitoring of the same.

• Work with Heads of Project Development and Engineering to create a development pipeline in Vietnam and other SE Asian markets which can either be executed in the next 3 years or acts as a development pipeline at exit

• Where Levanta is executing a project in a consortium, be the Levanta representative in the consortium meetings and keep Levanta’s interests protected

• Arrange government meetings / stakeholder meetings to be able to diligence issues pertaining to new auction regimes for utility scale projects or open access / distributed solar projects across Vietnam and SE Asia

• Work with M&A, Technical and Analyst team to evaluate commerciality of opportunities and prepare recommendations based on rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analysis

• Lead on various aspects of diligence such as market reports, power price forecast, tariff setting mechanisms, etc

Condominium located near Tiong Bahru MRT area has 1 position for Property Officer. You will be deployed on site, and assist with the daily operations of the estate. The working hours are 9:00am-5:30pm on weekdays, and 9:00am to 1:00pm on alternate Saturdays.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Management and Administration

• Handle all matters relating to the administration of the condominium particularly on The Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act, all statutory regulations, and House Rules.

• Conduct daily checks on the ground to ensure that the common areas are well maintained..

• Conduct daily check on the common property not maintained by a term contractor to ensure their soundness and proper maintenance.

• Check and ensure that the renovation and house moving contractors comply with the House Rules.

• Receive and attend to complaints by residents and owners for inter-unit seepage problems, or inter-unit disputes.

• Manage and supervise the term service providers to ensure they perform to the standing orders expected service levels.

• Liaise with technical & maintenance service providers, repairs, installation, fabrication, renovation & refurbishing contractors, witness the satisfactory completion of their works.

• Ensure that documents, records and architectural, structural and M&E drawings are properly kept and maintained.

• Record and file the list of service contractors, and remind the Condominium Manager for contract renewal or changing of contractors.

Operation and Maintenance

• Verify that minor repairs and replacement works are carried out properly and duly completed by the contractors, sub-contractors, specialists according to the terms and conditions of the contract and ensure that all rubbish leftover is cleared off the condominium premises as soon as possible.

Scope & Responsibility:

• Advise company in all submission of fire safety documents to Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) for approval
• Review and update Emergency Response Plan (ERP) as required by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
