The Boarding Officer/Ship Agent (Operations) is the first point of contact for vessels arriving into the port and processes all necessary formalities and declarations in a timely manner to ensure smooth entry and departure of ships assigned. He/She ensures full compliance to statutory formalities and factual declarations. The Boarding Officer/Ship Agent (Operations) identifies bottlenecks to propose improvements to the organisation's workflow and assists with its subsequent implementation.

The Boarding Officer/Ship Agent (Operations) is expected to establish good relationships with the Ship Captain and Chief Engineer of the ship, and is an organised person who is able to juggle the demands of paperwork and on-site work. He/She may be expected to work irregular hours to cater to the different arrival times of ships, and cope with unanticipated events and tight work schedules.

· Acquire and allocate resources to support operations.

· Attend at sites to monitor cargo loading and unloading operations.

· Handle cargo documentations, invoices and inwards shipment.

· Identify and solicit prospective clients.

· Liaise with clients on status of cargo clearance.

· Liaise with local agencies on daily work matters.

· Monitor vessel arrival and departure.

· Optimise utilisation of resources.

· Prepare quotations and proforma disbursements as required by clients, ship-owners and shipping lines.

· Process all formalities and declarations in a timely manner to ensure smooth entry/departure of ships assigned.

· Propose workflow improvements to improve efficiency.

· Solve problems arising in the course of work.

· Supervise and guide Shipping Clerks (Documentation).

• Responsible to oversee the day-to-day planning, management, operations and safety of facilities management works and service with adequate administrative staff.
• Responsible to carry out systems' heath and obsolescence monitoring, obsolescence management, crisis management, fire safety management, investigation and carry out rooy cause analysis of the incident, not limited to accident, power outage, and systems failure.

Job Description

• Implement appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act
• Enforce all safety requirements and company safety rules and regulations
• Conduct regular site checks and take appropriate corrective actions
• Conduct regular inspection to ensure ECM and environmental plan in place
• Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH legislation
• Investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses to determine the root causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Maintain accurate records related to safety training, incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Stay current on industry best practices and continuously seek opportunities to improve workplace safety.

Requirements

• Registered WSH Officer with MOM
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in construction industry
• Occupational Safety Management (including fire & safety management)
• Experience in JTC/ Private Housing (condominium) will be advantageous.

• Maintaining proper records of feedback or complaints
• Liaise with tenants for renovation submission
• Liaise with tenant / buyer / contractors for necessary works.
• Tracking of reinstatement / repair works / servicing schedules.
• Other ah-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma level
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experiences in MCST office
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
• Able to start work immediately.
• 5 days work week

Job Function
1. Liaise with Front office and instructing panel valuer to conduct desktop/ formal valuation and issue valuation report.
2. Review valuation reports for completeness, accuracy and quality. Address comments / issues raised with internal stakeholders and valuer.
3. Attend to emails received through the team’s Functional Mailbox and assist with Credit administration.
4. Assess valuers' performance and provide feedback to Policy team.

1. Deliver quality services to Business units by adopting a systematic and consistent approach in line with the Bank’s credit policies and procedures.
2. Achieve and adhere to specified performance standards in turnaround time and accuracy.

Job Responsibilites

Billing and invoicing

Perform day to day billing operations

Generate invoices for posting to customers

Oversees and manage billing schedules and prompt issurance to meet both customer expectations and company requirements

Verify invoice details, by cross referencing with customer's signed contracts/ quotations to ensure accuracy, and proactively address anu discrepancies or errors to compliance with agreed terms.

Interact with internal and external customers on rates and charges disputes

Maintain and update accurate records of billing transactions within the system

Provide accounting support

Monitor customer accounts for non-payments , delayed payments, or irregularities and take appropriate actions
