(A) Job Description & Requirements

The Planning Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

• Prepares computer generated schedule programming (Primavera, MS Project or others) to monitor the progress and substantiate time and cost entitlements.
• Monitors the progress of the construction programme and determines the delay events and their impacts.
• Prepares progress reports and progress audits.
• Prepares commissioning programmes.
• Prepares recovery programmes.
• Prepares baseline schedule which includes resource loading and progress.
• Keeps updated on the construction industry practices and standards, and recommends ways to improve the planning and scheduling systems.
• Provides advice on post-contract claims, reviews, disputes and litigation on programming.

(B) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering discipline or Construction Management.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera and/or MS Project software is a requirement.

Requirements

1. Degree in Computer Engineering or related field
2. At least 2 years of experience in network engineering in medium to large organizations
3. Expert knowledge of network technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, FTTH, SASE, SD-WAN)
4. Proficiency in WLAN solutions, particularly Aruba and Aruba ClearPass
5. Advanced certifications preferred (Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Huawei HCIP/HCIE,NCE, Aruba ACCP certifications)
6. Hands-on experience with various firewall/security technologies
7. Strong skills in configuring and optimizing network devices for efficiency and security

Job Description

• Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, equipment-specific specifications, and Quality Management System (QMS) and Project Quality Plan (PQP) requirements.
• Drive the overall company's Quality assurance and Quality control function and programmes.
• Ensure strict compliance with various contractual QA/QC requirement conforming to project requirement.
• Act as main liaison party with external certifying body on all ISO certification related to Quality.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure product quality meets design parameters and technical requirements while also adhering to BCA's Good Industry Practice guidelines.
• Supervise and manage all visual inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, including those carried out by third-party subcontractors.
• Monitor corrective actions and process improvement, as well as ensuring proper defect rectification of subcontractor workers across all trades.
• Develop and execute effective QA/QC plans, preparing precise reports, and assisting in the preparation of QM submissions.
• Manage testing requirements as per contracts.
• Oversee corrective actions and monitor their implementation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in QA/QC, Engineering, or Construction-related field.
• Minimum 5 years QA/QC experience in the local construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and experience with implementing QMS.
• Proficiency in construction management software and QA/QC documentation tools.
• Experience in major A/A works, underpinning works and conservationproject will be an advantage.
• BCA CONQUAS/Quality Mark certification will be a plus point.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-pacedenvironment.
