- Manage the resources to build the prototypes required by design centres

- Liaise with supplier and purchasing team to get the component resources for protype build

- Working with manufacturing site to collect Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) data to feedback to Design

- Ensure completeness of technical documentation and knowledge retention and maintaining up-to-date in database

4) Manage Bill of Material (BOM) and SAP with EDMI standard practice as well as Engineering Change Notification (ECN) management

- Maintain the superBOM with EDMI standard part number

- Work closely with Group Material Master Custody (GMMC) team and ensure SAP data integrity

- Responsible to hold ECN to all stakeholders to ensure change management completed as per EDMI procedure

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics preferred

· Diploma holders with related experience are also welcome to apply

· 3-5 years experience is preferred

· Work experience in Product transfer in Electronic Industry as a plus

· Ability to multitask and strong computer knowledge as a plus

· Able to travel Singapore and Malaysia frequently

· Good Interpersonal skill

Purpose

• To prepare the I&C engineering deliverables for assigned projects as per company specified technical standards, procedures within project schedule and budget under supervision of Project Lead I&C Engineer and support the Lead Engineer to plan, execute, & deliver the I&C deliverables for the assigned project successfully.

Job Description

• Understand the I&C design basis, project requirements including HSSE, scope, schedule, quality requirements, client and class requirements and project execution philosophy.
• Manage project work including issue of deliverables within schedule and quality.
• Plan, manage the deliverables as per project requirements in coordination with Project Lead I&C Engineer.
• Identify improvement opportunities and innovative ideas.
• Ensure proper change management control, anticipate the technical issues, and take preventive action to mitigate the risk.
• Closely communicate with the team, inter-discipline communication, internal and external stake holders.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Candidates must have a background in Instrumentation and Auto Control, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Proficiency in field instruments, involvement in field instrument procurements, and the ability to review vendor documents are essential skills.
• The candidate should be capable of preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ), data sheets, Input/Output (I/O) lists, Cause and Effect Diagrams (CBD), and wiring diagrams.
• A good understanding of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) concepts is required. Previous working experience with any ICSS system (e.g., YEA, HWL, ABB) is a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with the technical aspects of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) projects is a plus.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is necessary, and basic experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
