• Manage, review, and oversee firmware customization projects with external suppliers, ensuring all deliverables meet technical specifications, project timelines, and quality standards, including collaborating with hardware suppliers to adapt and optimize existing firmware for Project WATT’s hardware components, ensuring seamless integration with internal systems.
• Validate and integrate supplier-provided firmware with hardware systems, proactively identifying and resolving compatibility or performance issues.
• Audit and evaluate supplier deliverables, providing feedback and corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement in firmware quality and functionality.
• Supervise supplier development processes, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and project requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software interaction challenges, ensuring stable and reliable system operation across deployment scenarios.
• Conduct performance and compliance testing to validate firmware functionality and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
• Document firmware configurations, testing results, and improvement processes to ensure transparency and support team collaboration.
• Monitor firmware performance post-deployment, identifying issues and coordinating with suppliers to implement necessary updates or fixes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams during hardware-software integration and field deployments, ensuring successful implementation.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, leveraging them to propose and implement improvements in firmware design, supplier processes, and integration workflows.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in firmware development or adaptation, working with embedded systems will be prioritized.
• Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and experience working with supplier-provided firmware.
• Proficiency in debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers to identify and resolve firmware issues.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, or Ethernet.
• Proven ability to optimize and adapt existing firmware to meet specific operational requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in EV-related firmware development, IoT systems, or robotics is preferred.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills to ensure transparency and effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

· Carry out Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) design for water and wastewater treatment projects.

· Manage the procurement, costing and delivery of electrical software and hardware required

· Make automation programming according to clients’ technical specifications

· Arrange control panel assembly, testing, and installation at construction site

· Modification and Integration of new equipment / system with existing automation system

· Update of SCADA/HMI graphic to reflect new instruments/equipment and mapping these graphics to the corresponding field signals

· Attend to EICA breakdowns with diagnosis and solutions

· Attend meetings with subcontractors and clients for technical clarifications and arrangements.

· Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure deliverables are within the schedule.

· Keep records of EICA design, drawings, and document systematically

· Provide support and assistance to Sales Department and Maintenance Team

· Guide and educate junior EICA personnel.

· Other ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

· Minimum 3 years working experience at membrane base water treatment plant, preferably

· Proficient with Schneider / Siemens / Allen-bradley software

· Well-versed with SCADA and HMI

· Excellent communication skill

Job Description & Requirements

• Conduct Geotechnical Analysis, Soil Classification, Data analysis and interpretation of instrumentation works Submit progress/ technical reports and assessment on geotechnical issues on site.
• Responsible for all on-site geotechnical and engineering issues pertaining to site matters.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and attend to clients for queries. To conduct the geotechnical investigation and/or instrumentation projects to meet the schedule and specified requirement
• To prepare and submit factual and/or engineering reports on the respective projects
• Initiate and co-ordinate projects according to schedule.
• Assist engineering analysis and attend the site meeting.
• Any other duties as assigned by the project managers.

• Plan, lead and supervise upgrading works, addition and alteration works
• Lead a team of supervisors and workers and oversight of manpower for project execution
• Ensure designs / drawings meet relevant code and compliance requirements, and good engineering practices
• To attend site matters / discussions to resolve technical / site issues and progress matters
• Continuing to improve all installation works schedule and quality of work through proper planning of work method, materials procurement and selection, and efficient site management
• Monitor and control project schedule, materials delivery and budget etc
• Liaise coordinate with clients, consultant, project supervisors and sub-contractors on project related issues and to ensure project objectives are met
• To supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications
• Establish and maintain a detailed tracking and filing system of all documents
• To prepare, submit Variation Claims with instruction documents & part-plan from client
• Maintain all filing systematically & uploading of softcopies in the system
• To place materials order to Purchaser in advance as per Order list as per site requirement
• Responsible for ensuring implementing safety measures
