Our client is a MNC chemical manufacturer company. They are currently seeking for Chemical Technician responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operations of the process units and equipment by measuring, recording and controlling process operating parameters.

The role of the Chemical Technician includes:

• Perform minor maintenance
• Performing checks, start-up and shutdown operations on process equipment such as pumps and compressors
• Carry out filter changes
• Isolating piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, product grade change and troubleshooting operations
• Adjusting process parameters to optimize process operations under supervision of Supervisors
• Commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment
• Performing emergency shutdown of process equipment
• Proper handing and blending of non-conforming and off specs products
• Preparing plant equipment for maintenance
• Preparing chemicals, including mixing and dilution, for process operations
