• Oversee the development/ creation of Playgroup handouts (if any) and maintain healthy, frequent and positive relationships with parents.
• Update MPA’s social media account (daily story updates + regular posts).
• Develop Playgroup parent handouts, where appropriate.
• Plan and structure learning interactive playspaces in both indoor and outdoor environments using a variety of materials and equipment to facilitate children’s development.
• Mentor and teach educators along with the supervisor through observations, guided discussions and recommendations for professional development on curriculum practices.

Working hours:

Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm

Saturdays, 9am - 12pm

Requirements:

• Preferably a Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Diploma in ECCE
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in early childhood
• Fluent in spoken and written English (to teach in English language and communicate with children and parents)
• Loves outdoor and nature play
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team

This is an onsite, full time position.
