Job Responsibilities:

• To facilitate and carry out the daily operations routine.
• Assist with English & Chinese Homework and Assessments.
• Setting up appropriate classroom rules and cleanliness of the classroom.
• Ensure the children are safe at all times and supervised appropriately and orderly.
• Foster a joy for learning and provide emotional support, care and concern as well as encouragement should the need arise.
• To be familiar with a student's medical conditions and dietary restrictions, etc.
• To adhere to the specific guidelines given by the Centre Manager as well as the roles assigned by the Centre Manager
• To work as a team and share the collective responsibilities
• Assist the children in their homework, spelling and assessment activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum Polytechnic Diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Candidates with prior experience in giving Tuition Lessons preferred
• Candidates that possess primary school content knowledge for English and Mandarin homework guidance will be an added advantage

UWCSEA Dover is seeking a Teacher of Primary School Learning Support from August 2025 to join our dynamic and flexible support team. The Learning Support position focuses on fostering an inclusive environment that prioritises a student-centred and strength-based approach. UWCSEA are in the initial phases of implementing a tiered support model, and this role involves collaborating with the team around the child to ensure all students can thrive within the UWCSEA learning programme.
