Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver English language composition writing and English language lessons in accordance with the Company's guidelines and framework to achieve desired learning outcomes.
• Mark students' scripts in accordance with the Company's guidelines and rubrics
• Ensure marked scripts are returned in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and cater to students' educational needs in a timely manner.
• Be actively involved in the planning and preparation of curriculum and innovation of teaching methodology.
• To provide timely feedback to parents and address their concerns appropriately.
• To be tasked with 12 classes of various levels (Primary 1 - Secondary 4)

Qualifications:

• Prefer candidates with a degree qualified by a reputable university in a related field (English Language, Linguistics, Arts and Social Sciences, Mass Communications, Humanities, and Law)
• Achieved academic excellence in English Language, English Literature and General Paper (GP).
• With at least 1 year of relevant teaching experience in established enrichment centers is preferably.

Job Description

• Prepare Science apparatus for experiments and Mathematics manipulative for lessons.
• Keep Science apparatus and Mathematics manipulate after lessons.
• Assist the HOD/Science and HOD/Mathematics to develop a stock list for stocktaking, do stock taking of both Science apparatus and Mathematics Manipulative and maintain the stock list after yearly stock taking.
• Organize return and collection of Math and Science desk copies on an annual basis.
• Organize Math and Science resources neatly in Math cupboards and in the Science laboratories.
• Perform simple repair of equipment and manipulative when needed.
• Work with teachers to create simple manipulative and/or any other materials for Math and Science Departments programme.
• Support the Math and Science Departments for recess activities.
• Help with photo-taking for Math and Science programme or activities.
• Work with teachers to take simple Math and/or Science teaching videos.
• Provide administrative support as deployed by the school

Requirements

• Preferably with experience working in a school environment in the field of Science and Mathematics.
• Candidate must be proficient in English Language, including listening/understanding, speaking, reading and writing.
• Candidate should be able to use basic MS Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Candidate should be able to achieve work goals independently, while pro-actively seeking clarification as needed to offer the timely support for the departments’ programmes.
