The successful candidate will be performing the following duties, but not limited to:

• Attend to walk-in, perform registration: key in patients’ data and register in the system.

• To ensure the care and maintenance of AU machine and equipment are functioning prior administration of anaesthesia to the patient.
• To demonstrate good and competent clinical skills, knowledge and critical thinking in the delivery of quality nursing skills.
• To participate in the care an maintenance of specialized, ensuring an agreed standard of decontamination/disinfection at all times including accurate record of traceability of all equipment.
• To collaborate with anaesthetists and other healthcare providers in the anaesthesia unit in order to deliver safe and high standard care
• To assist in day surgery cases and other minor surgery cases.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.
• Candidates with Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent will have an advantage.
• A meticulous and analytical team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferably in Perioperative / Peri-anesthesia or equivalent.

We have expanded our services and started an Urgent Care (night) Clinic located in the same centre. We are looking for an Registered Nurse to support the clinic's operations.

The successful candidate will be performing the following duties, but not limited to:

• Attend to walk-in, perform registration: key in patients’ data and register in the system.
• Assist doctor during the consultation, and provide prompt follow-up action when required.
• Booking of appointments in the system.
• Updating and maintaining patient details on the system.
• Handle billing, and collection of payments (cash, NETS, credit cards, cheques) with integrity and accuracy. Collect deposit if required.
• Perform daily closing of collections and alert superiors on discrepancies if any.
• Monitoring medication and supplies inventory and order when stock is low.
• Advise patients on Medisave / medishield / private shield / corporate guarantees and to obtain signatures on the relevant forms (if required).
• Able to commit full-time preferably at least 5 weekday nights sessions and a weekend afternoon shift will be preferred.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in a GP clinic setting.
• Prior experience in a 24-hr clinic or A&E will be highly advantageous.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board & Valid BCLS Certificate.
• Able to commit full-time preferably at least 5 weekday nights (6pm to 12mn) sessions and one weekend afternoon shift (1pm to 12mn) will be preferred.
• Candidates who can work across weekends are highly advantageously
• Good interpersonal skills, a good team player, and has good time management skills

• Mon - Fri (6pm - 12mm)
• Saturday (1pm - 12mm)
• Sunday & PH (8am - 12mm)

• Manage daily medication dispensary duties.
• Daily reporting to doctors of their patients’ results/findings.
• Assist doctors from various disciplines to perform clinical procedures/treatments in the clinic.
• Governance of infection control and other clinical policies in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s guidelines.
• Administer injections and phlebotomy services as and when required in-clinic.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

Clinic

• Manage day-to-day clinic operations together with Nurse Manager and Patient service associates
• Dispense and administer medications where necessary
• Assist with post-op dressing
• Provide financial counselling for patients who require surgery
• Filing of insurance and medisave claims

Day Surgery

• Provide safe perioperative nursing care to patients
• Perform anaesthetic, scrub and circulating duties
• Serve as surgeon’s primary assistant and work closely with their team members to make each procedure safe and successful
• Ensure patient safety during pre-op, intra-op and post-op
• Ensure functionality of equipment and instruments
• Prepare patient for, and assist with, examinations and treatments

Working Hours

• Mondays to Fridays - 8.30a.m. to 5.30p.m.
• Saturdays - 8.30a.m. to 12.30p.m. (alternate Saturdays can be discussed)
• Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advance/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, professional Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in the related field is preferred.
• New Graduates who would like to gain experience as a scrub nurse may apply.
