Prof. Phanish Puranam seeks a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher at INSEAD’s Singapore campus starting beginning of 2025. The postdoctoral researcher will be provided with a salary and a small personal research budget and will join in the ongoing research of Prof. Puranam and collaborators on the theme of “Organizations and Algorithms”. This work covers different ways in which algorithms relate to organizations, in their roles as tools (e.g., machine learning applied to organizational data), models (e.g., computational models of organizations as aggregations of learning agents) and as members (e.g., human-AI collaboration). The ideal candidate for this Postdoctoral Researcher will be a recent PhD graduate with a deep interest in this domain who can provide research support in terms of analyses involving programming, data analyses and visualization, taking on a “lab manager” role to coordinate other research support, and possibly to join as an author on some projects.
