• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings

• Responsible for automation engineering systems & processes per safety and performance standards to build products.
• Establish performance & quality criteria via validation (IQ, OQ and PQ) by FEED (Front End Engineering Design), testing, installation, commissioning & handover for production.
• Work closely with internal team for technical solution, design experiment, validation, qualification procedure & check list to ensure products meet governance, company & customer requirements.
• Create testing protocol, run test for concept approval, analyze results, update activity logs & document results.
• Monitor compliance with safety and quality regulations.
• Calibrating and repairing machine & equipment.
• Participate in cross functional team for product failure root cause analysis and automation system Continuous Improvement.
• Design new machines & auxiliary equipment maintenance procedures, check list & work instructions, provide training for operation & maintenance staffs.
• Collaborate with internal and external process FMEA and Machine qualification.
• Collaborates with suppliers and in-house complete all FAT and SAT requirements within the delivery date.
• Perform Lean principle (5S, Gemba-walk, 5-why and B&A suggestion improvements)
• Submit and Follow-up qualification with QA and Production staff
• Any other duties as and when assigned
• Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree of Engineering in Automation / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
• Previous 3-6 years experience as a validation engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong understanding of automation engineering system design concept & development, manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of statistical software analysis (e.g., MINITAB, MATLAB)
• Well versed in Microsoft office tools (Excel/ Word / Power point)
• Have knowhow in Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and CPK study.
• Leadership, ownership, team player, self-motivated.
• Attention to details and eager to learn new technology.

Scope of work requested for the services is to provide system support (level 1/2) to manage Government agency servers. It includes the following:

1. Incident Management

a. Monitoring new incidents

b. Working on incidents assigned

c. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues

d. Timely follow-up and closure of incidents

e. Updating and resolving incidents status in ITSM system

2. Service Request Fulfilment

a. Monitoring of new service request (SR)

b. Work on SR assigned

c. Setup and configure new systems

d. Hardening of OS and applications

e. Timely follow-up and closure of SR

f. Updating SR status in ITSM System and closure of SR

g. Updating Asset Management team on asset issued / returned

3. Monthly Patching

a. Patching of systems

b. Testing upon completion of patching

4. 24 x 7 standby support

a. 24 x 7 standby support and to go onsite as and when required

5. Daily health check / Escort vendor

a. Daily health check and submission of daily health check report

b. Escort vendor when request are raised

6. Other tasks

a. Conduct any other tasks as required of a system engineer role

6 PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS

6.1 The Contractor’s support personnel managing the servers must be trained and minimally be proficient in the following areas:

Windows Server

(a) The System Engineer shall minimally possess the following requirement:

(i) At least three (3) years of experience in Microsoft Server administration;

and

(ii) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA);

Requirements and skills :



• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role  Experience developing web applications for both desktop and mobile 
• Expertise developing applications using React, Redux, Express and NodeJS. 
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) 
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Dart) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Nginx) and UI/UX design 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills 

Responsibilities:

Customer Service (60%)

• Represent OMEGA in dealing with customers’ concerns.
• To provide quality support to customers’ technical enquiries.
• To communicate with customers on his needs and request for service.
• To perform repair, installation and commissioning of Marine Communication and Navigational equipment.
• To troubleshoot complex technical faults, report findings and communicate with Projects, Sales and customers for solutions and feedback.
• Interact with end-users to explain the failure mode in detail.
• Travel to customer sites as circumstances dictate; 60-70% of the time will travel around the globe to attend to break downs & repair onboard vessels; otherwise in Singapore supporting the same activities.

Internal Liaison (25%)

• Assist the project team in project executions; in providing technical expertise in field/site works.
• Be responsible for the tools and parts issued under his care.
• To observe and implement the company EHS policy; ensure compliance with all safety policies, practices and procedures at all times.
• Able to meet project deadlines and prioritizing tasks time to time as scheduled.
• Any other duties assigned by immediate Superior.

Reporting (15%)

• To report the jobs carried out in the standard service report form; report the productivity hours and tasks performed.
• To summarize service reports per project for team for submission to the Manager, Service.
• To report on team’s achievements on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 4 year of relevant working experience.
• Basic knowledge on Network System.
• Good Knowledge on one or two of the following: telecommunication, public announcement systems, navigation systems.
• Service oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel and staying overseas for a period of up to 4 weeks.
• Able to work independently and meet schedules.

· Development experience with a scripting language (such as Shell Scripting or Python)

· A grounded understanding of Git branching, merging, and pull requests

· Hands-on experience with one or more of the following DevOps toolchains (or equivalent): o Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Docker, Ansible, SonarQube

· Experience with IaaS or PaaS systems such as: o AWS, Google Cloud, Azure Cloud Foundry, OpenShift/Kubernetes, OpenStack

· Fundamental understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancing, forward and reverse proxies

Familiarity with concepts such as: Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Design, Behavioural-Driven Design, and 12 factor application design
