Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex broadcast and IT systems in a live television or broadcast environment.

Responsibilities:

• To assist and report to Audio & Comms Manager to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.
• To have the ability to solve problems with minimal instruction, be self-motivated and adaptable.
• To be flexible with work both in the office and overseas as required.
• Conferring with producers, talents, and others to determine and achieve the desired sound for a production.
• Setting up, testing and adjusting recording equipment for recording sessions and live production; de-rig equipment after event completion.
• To be able to troubleshoot electronic equipment to a system level.
• Operate and maintain Audio & Communication equipment. Assisting or reporting of Audio /Comms equipment problems and ensure the equipment is repaired on time for next production.
• Operation of Audio mixers for recording / live production.
• To be willing to learn and practice the new technologies used by company that has not been experienced or worked before.
• To be able to direct, instruct and manage assistant engineers and possible system integrators on projects.
• To have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as computer skills.
• To be able to draft technical reports.
• To be able to read technical (Auto CAD) engineering drawings and willing to learn.
