• Observe and maintain safety rules and regulations

• Provide technical support, propose solutions, and project related queries for all Wired, Wireless network.
• Perform analysis, Plan, Coordinate and Implement all change requests on existing network equipment.
• Maintain records of system details (e.g. configuration, changes, problems, disaster recovery document) for network equipment.
• Manage firewalls like Checkpoint, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto and NEXUS switches; F5 Load balancer
- Gather business and/or application requirements on the infrastructure to plan, design, install, test & implement systems in accordance with the specifications & service level.
- Aligned or enhanced ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operations e.g. Change, Incident, problem, release management & CMDB.
- Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & service level availability.
- Respond promptly to incident, root cause analysis & provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
- Implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
- Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations.
- Able to lead a team of network engineers (size).
- Attain key certifications for partnership with key vendors.

Job Description & Requirements

1. Prepare and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts and other visual aids.

2. Coordinate with various Government agencies and utility authorities for initial site clearance and set up site office

3. Report on daily issues to Project Manager / Construction Manager

4. Plan, schedule and monitor work progress at site

5. Continuously ensure adherence to planned timeliness

6. Maintain and monitor quality controls

7. Prepare and submit all daily and weekly reports as required

8. Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented on work site

9. Prepare method statements and other submission

10. Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work

11. Liaising with consultants and/ subcontractors engaged in the project

12. Supervising and monitoring the site labour force and monitoring the work of subcontractors

13. Overseeing quality control and safety matters on site and ensuring that regulations are adhered to

14. Preparing complete, accurate and timely submittal logs for construction projects based on project drawings and specifications.

15. Accountable for receiving approved submittals from and notifying the Project Manager of potential schedule impact.

16. Assist Project Manager by preparing all necessary backups relating to change requests.

17. Distribute contract documents to subcontractors, including drawings, specifications, and general conditions. Include any accepted alternates or addendums with documents.

18. Schedule all required construction meetings with required personnel subcontractors, architects and owners

19. Prepare correspondence with client, architect, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. Examples of referenced correspondence include, but not confined to the following items: Schedule of values, project schedule, memos, request for information (RFI), transmittals and submittals.

20. During Construction Phase, proactively manage project to achieve quality, schedule, budget and safety.

21. Utilize and maintain tools: schedule and document management to track and record project performance.

22. Planning work to ensure that materials, machineries, authorities’ approval and sites condition are ready before the work starts.

23. Coordinating with authorities, clients to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assignment

• Design and implement secure networking solutions;
• Install, configure, and manage network devices;
• Troubleshoot escalated network issues and work towards effective resolution;
• Maintain detailed technical documentation for all network-related configurations and procedures;
• Monitor and enhance network performance, ensuring high levels of availability and stability;
• Drive improvements in scalability, capacity, security, and overall system efficiency;
• Support project deployment, ensuring successful implementation of network solutions.

Requirements

• Tertiary education in information technology or any relevant discipline;
• Certification in networking technologies would be an advantage;
• At least 3 years of experience in network infrastructure, ideally within a systems integration environment;
• Strong knowledge of wired and wireless network deployment and related technologies;
• Familiarity with routing and switching protocols and practices;
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Employment Details

• This is a 1-year renewable contract, convertible to permanent.
