A good Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems from a recognized institution

Candidates with 2 years of relevant experience and knowledge in network devices and transport can be considered if there is no diploma.

Experience

Technical / Professional Skills

• Knowledge of routers/switches architecture and analytical trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.
• Working experience and strong understanding of Juniper devices and its parts will be an added advantage

Non-Technical / Soft Skills

• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess basic knowledge of office applications skills e.g. Excel, Visio, Word.
• Self-starter and highly driven with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team.

Job Responsibilities:

· Manage the project site by overseeing the day-to-day site operation and activities.

· Plan, implement and monitor the work schedules according to the master and detailed work programmes.

· Assist the Project Manager in planning and sequencing of the construction operations according to the Project Quality Plan.

· Liaise with client's representatives on site, sub-contractors and suppliers.

· Conduct inspections and checking on work performed by sub-contractors.

· Assist Project Manager in the evaluation and resolution of any discrepancies and problems arising during construction and which has an effect on quality of the works.

· Ensure that only updated Construction drawings and Approved shop drawings are used by all for construction.

· Co-ordinate the handing over of completed works to the client and completion of the necessary rectification works.

· Update the status of materials stock balance and advises Project Manager when to place replenishment orders.

· Any duties to be assigned from time to time.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience: Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
• Technical skills: Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, PLC programming, and MATLAB
• Communication skills: The ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
• Problem-solving skills: The ability to solve problems and work to agreed deadlines
• Attention to detail: The ability to pay close attention to detail
• Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical engineering codes, safety standards, and manufacturing processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Refine data collection/consumption by migrating data collection to more efficient channels.
• Plan, design and implement data engineering jobs and reporting solutions to meet the analytical needs.
• Develop test plan and scripts for system testing, support user acceptance testing.
• Work with the Authority’s technical teams to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solution.
• Ensure the smooth operations and service level of IT solutions.
• Support production issues - Track record in implementing systems with high availability, high performance, high security.

The Talent:

• Good understanding and completion of projects using waterfall/Agile methodology.
• Good understanding of analytics and data warehouse implementations.
• Strong experience in Cloudera implementations and administration
• Strong knowledge on CDP, CDH and HDP
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resource to application stack traces.
• Strong SQL, data modelling and data analysis skills are a must.
• Hands-on experience in big data engineering jobs using Python, PySpark, Linux, and ETL tools like Informatica.
• Track record in implementing systems using Hive, Impala and Cloudera Data Platform will be preferred.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps deployment and data virtualization tools like Denodo will be preferred.
• Understanding/ Hands on experience of reporting or visualization tool like SAP BO and Tableau will be beneficial but not required.
• Passion for automation, standardization, and best practices
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, ability to understand the business requirement, communicate confidently with stakeholders.

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
