Job Description

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

• Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
• Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms
• Communicates to his / her superior any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information
• Deliver Food and Beverage service of high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
• Food and beverage stock is stored in relation to hotel procedures
• Beverages are upsold and regularly replenished, abiding by responsible alcohol service regulations

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• High school graduate
• At least 1 year experience in restaurant food service
• Obtained alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency
• Ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support to the department; Preparing reports;
• Drafting correspondence, schedules, memos, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents from notes, dictation, and other sources;
• Proofreading and editing documents for accuracy and format; distributing documents as instructed; maintaining calendars; coordinating and scheduling meetings, training sessions, appointments, and making travel arrangements;
• Receiving and screening internal/external visitors/guests;
• Receiving, screening, and directing telephone calls to appropriate department;
• Providing information to callers; maintaining filing system, including establishing and updating files, sorting, grading, verifying, filing and retrieving office documentation;
• Establishing and maintaining new and specialized files according to prescribed methods;
• Tracking time/attendance; assisting with processing of travel and other expenses;
• Preparing, sorting, prioritizing, logging and distributing incoming and outgoing mail; and
  Maintaining specialized logs, mailing lists and tracking systems; performing special projects, as required.

Requirements

Min. ‘N/O’ Levels, or Diploma holder

Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Experience in handling full set of accounts.
• Ensure month-end and yearly closing deadline are met and compliance to local rule and regulation.
