About the role:

The client’s Manufacturing Communications team is looking for a Site Communications Specialist to join their Singapore site within the Manufacturing Division. Key responsibilities include supporting and advising site colleagues/leaders in their communication efforts, enhancing content management and development, utilizing various communication channels, and implementing innovative solutions to engage both “wired” and “non-wired” manufacturing employees. Additionally, the specialist will assist with issues management communications and foster employee engagement across all levels and divisions within the facility.

The Site Communications Specialist will collaborate closely with the Site Communications Lead and work with colleagues across corporate and divisional communications, as well as functional leaders at the site. This position reports directly to the Site Communications Lead of the client’s Manufacturing Division in Singapore.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and implements communication plans, empowering leaders and stakeholders with the information and tools they need to inform and engage their teams.
• Identify opportunities to promote employee engagement and help foster a positive work culture
• Establishes and creates written, verbal, and visual content that:

o Aids employees in understanding enterprise and divisional business goals, as well as site-specific priorities.

Job Descriptions:

Responsible for the full operational and financial management of food courts and coffee shops in a designated region. Key responsibilities included:

• Financial Performance: Managing budgets, P&L, sales reporting, cost control, rent collection, debt recovery, and financial analysis.
• Tenant Management: Sourcing, onboarding, lease negotiations, performance evaluation, pricing oversight, issue resolution, and contract enforcement.
• Operational Management: Setting operational guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulations (NEA, SFA, Civil Defense), maintaining service quality and hygiene standards, coordinating with landlords on building issues and promotions, managing M&E works, and overseeing daily operations.
• Team Leadership: Leading and developing Area Managers, providing guidance, addressing disciplinary issues, managing staff performance reviews and training, and conducting regular meetings.
• Business Development: Collaborating on new business opportunities, site sourcing, renovations, and outlet improvements.
• Administration: Managing finances (float money, petty cash, sales collections), reporting to senior management, and communicating company policies.

Responsibilities

· Monitor strict compliance of “Permit to Work” system at worksite & explain the importance to workers at the time of safety talk/toolbox meeting.

· Coordinate Environmental Control Committee Meeting and implement all environmental control programs.

· Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as required by the regulatory authorities.

· Ensure compliance of operations with NEA and EHS regulations

· Prepare Site Environmental Control Report on a regular basis

· Conduct environmental control audit and investigations

· Able to maintain environmental requirements in line with OHSAS 18001:1999

· Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, develop environmental control plan, site clean-up plans & monitor their completion

· Advise and liaise with Project Manager and construction team on all matters pertaining to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)Ensure compliance and practice of Company's QEHS Management System

· Oversee and lead the Safety team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety systems at sites

· Inspect and examine the workplace to ensure workplace safety compliance

· Identify safety, environmental health non-compliance and recommend measures to rectify

· Liaise with authorities and clients on matters pertaining to environmental, workplace safety issues

· Conduct & organize internal / external WSH trainings for staffs.

· Conduct incident investigations & propose corrective actions.

· Review OHSMS and provide recommendations for improvement of safety.

· Conduct regular inspection and audits on the safety provisions.

· Conduct, review & submit Risk Assessments.

· Prepare safe work procedures for site activities.

Requirements:

· Registered ECO & ECMO with NEA and PUB in Singapore

· Experienced in Construction Projects in Singapore as full time.

· Experience in managing a construction site Earth Control Measure

· Noise monitoring certificate

· Willing to work West Area.

· Good Communication Skills in reading, writing, and speaking
