The Programme for Research in Epidemic Preparedness and REsponse (PREPARE) is a national programme that was set up by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to support and strengthen Singapore’s key essential research capabilities, translational platforms, and expertise to develop tools, methods and products that can be tapped on to detect, respond to, and contain future infectious disease threats.

You will lead and oversee the development and execution of immunogenicity and challenge animal models for viral pathogens within the ABSL3 or ABSL2 setting as part of the PREPARE Vaccine & Therapeutics co-op. This co-op aims to develop pathogen-agnostic technologies and platforms to enable rapid therapeutic or vaccine development to enhance Singapore’s capabilities and access to vaccines during future epidemics. You will be responsible for experimental design, evaluation and documentation of the results and coordination with our host BSL3 laboratory which is located at NTU LKC School of Medicine.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SPECIFIC

1. Development and execution of animal challenge experiments for viral pathogens with pandemic potential within the ABSL3 at LKC Experimental Medicine Building (NTU) and immunogenicity experiments for vaccine platforms within the ABSL2 at LKC Clinical Sciences Building (Novena)
2. Assist with preparation and submission of IACUC protocols
3. Work with the PREPARE Laboratory head to manage PREPARE projects and train/supervise attached staff.

• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
• Have a certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry or equivalent.
• Possess good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.

JOB ROLES / RESPONSIBILITY:

• To work full-time in to carry out various administration and accounting works of the office.
• To set-up an accounting system in the office and meet/pass Auditor's requirement.
• To carry-out book-keeping, full set of accounts, and preparation of financial statements for various types of business
• Made detailed testing on transactions and balances and vouching, posting and checking trial balance preparation
• Analyze transactions, internal reports and financial information for potential fraud risks
• Perform special assignments: review of accountancy records, valuation, and consultancy works
• All communication with clients is supported by emails, document agreed action steps, responsibilities and deadlines are handled promptly and effectively.
• Preparation of Commercial Tax, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax, Personal Tax computation and submission of Tax Clearance

Responsibilities

• To attend, handle and assist all customer enquiries coming through various customer service channels on loan related matters including loan retention and assist in making outbound calls when required.
• Ability to understand customers’ needs and provide appropriate solutions and attention
• Review customer existing loan package and advice accordingly on the various option available
• To protect loan portfolio by managing customer expectation on loan repricing package offered
• To respond and follow up on customers’ request promptly and accurately
