We are a startup aiming at providing tele-healthcare services to patients and elderlies. We have a strong shareholder base including investors from the US, China, Malaysia and Singapore.

The Project

We are working on a project to implement and localize an AI-facilitated tele-healthcare system from the US in Singapore and other regional countries.

Job Duties

• Work with the system development and operating team in the US to understand the system.
• Find out the differences on the legal and practical requirements on medical data handling in the US and the targetted countries where the system will be implemented and localized.
• Work with the IT team in China to implement and localize the system according to local laws and regulations.
• Develop new functions for the system according to user requirements.
• Maximize the value of the data collected from the system.

Job Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in IT project implementation.
• At least 3 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis with focus on cloud-based AI/ML workloads.
• Experience in data governance, security, modeling, data warehouse, etc.
• knowledge of regulatory compliance (Personal Data Protection Act, General Data Protection Regulation, Protected Health Information, etc.), cyberseurity, risk management.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, including working experiene with cross-functional cross-cultual teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of interfaing with shareholders, senior managment, healthcare practitioners and system end users.
• Proficient in Chinese preferable.

Working Location

Singapore, with some travel requirements

• Supervising a team of retail assistants to ensure smooth operation
• Responsible for the sales of your category of products
• Handle inventory management, housekeeping and merchandising
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.

Willing to work on roster based on retail hours.

Element has an opportunity for a Laboratory Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

This position will be based in Sungei Kadut Loop,Singapore.

Job Duties:

• Ensures that safety and quality standards are being met and maintained at all times within the company's safety and QA programs and work with assigned staff to ensure work schedules are maintained and balanced
• Responsible for the location safety performance and awareness; spearheads and manages initiatives that drive a culture of safety first
• Under the direction of the General Manager, is responsible for department’s growth including profit and loss.
• Provides technical and engineering leadership related to construction chemical materials testing, but not limited to other product testing such as floor tiles, door, glass, timber, etc.
• Manages daily operations to ensure productivity and customer expectations are consistently met in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of Element capabilities, processes and expertise to be able to clearly explain the benefits of Element testing services to all stakeholders.
• Spearheads the development of new capabilities within Element with formal business case proposal.
• Provides technical advice or training to coworkers and customers on interpretation of test results.
• Provides technical and costing input to Business Development team on new and existing opportunities.
• Confident in making both formal and informal technical presentations to a wide range of stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Science or Materials Engineering discipline from recognised institution, with a minimum of 5-year experience in a managerial role ideally with laboratory management operations experience
• Must be well-versed with ISO17025 documentation and technical documents such as BS, EN, ASTM, etc.
• Candidates with SAC-SINGLAS Signatory will be advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge on laboratory safety
• Ability to support and train staff members
• Possess strong technical leadership
• Ability to communicate (both written and oral) effectively with clients and colleagues with great attention to detail and accuracy of test results
• Proven track record of success in technical competency
• Proven ability to work under fast-paced environment

Job Summary

• Approval of credit/ exposure limits for corporate clients including specialized finance transactions under delegated credit authorities with good turnaround times.
• Ensure that the quality of the credit portfolio is maintained within acceptable parameters as defined by the Group and Country Risk Appetite statements and relevant Portfolio Underwriting Standards, and that the reporting of information relating to that portfolio is timely and accurate.
• Partner with the business to deliver strategic aspirations whilst remaining within agreed risk appetite and optimising use of risk capital.
• Ensure global credit policies and procedures are consistently interpreted, understood and applied, and that all deviations are appropriately reported, escalated and approved.
• Identify, measure and monitor material risk affecting Specialized Finance portfolio in the context of the external market environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Early alert review (EAR) process, ensuring it is adhered to. Assist relationship managers in identifying and managing up or out of accounts exhibiting signs of deterioration and assist Group Special Assets Management, where appropriate, in managing accounts to maximize recoveries and minimize losses.
• Initiate stress tests as required by internal and external factors and review results and assess their implications.
• Ensure risk capabilities are objective, consistent and compliant with applicable regulations
• Maintain delegated authorities in line with internal policies.
• Ensure that the quality of Business Credit Applications (BCAs) meets Group standards, particularly with regards to the completeness and depth of risk analysis.
• Ensure BCAs are renewed in time and BCA overdue and extensions are kept within the thresholds.
• Assess the credit risk profile of the portfolio, maintaining alignment with risk appetite by rebalancing of risks or controls that may be required in response to internal and external factors.
• Ensure timely submission and accuracy of regional Specialised Finance credit portfolio data and relevant papers to Risk Committees.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable PRA and MAS regulatory requirements together with any other relevant regulation applicable to the region.

Skills and Experience

Our Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of relevant banking experience in credit risk management either as an analyst or a credit approver and a University degree
• Ability to evaluate client business models, identify key risk issues, determine the appropriate risk appetite and take quality, defensible credit decisions.
• Good understanding of some of the specialized businesses like project finance, leveraged finance, transportation finance etc. and products relevant to them.
• Relevant experience in client facing or product roles and experience in SCB footprint markets would be preferable.
• Business strategy and model: sharp business acumen (including ability to assess risk and appropriate levels of return),
• Strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Risk Management and Control: Strong understanding of credit risk management principles. Demonstrated track record in successful management and ability to manage risk in geographically dispersed and highly varied product base.
• Regulatory Framework and Requirements: Awareness and understanding of regulatory framework in which the bank operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
• Training: Role holder will be required to pass bank's credit risk accreditation program within 6-months of joining, in addition to other training as deemed mandatory by the SCB.

• Possess a recognized diploma/degree in Architecture with at least ten years of relevant construction experience.
