• Sound affinity with the geographic market(s) covered, i.e. familiar with the legal and regulatory environment as well as cultural awareness
• Good understanding of relevant products and services in Private Banking
• Basic knowledge of global financial markets and current developments in the industry
• Proven track record in servicing banking clients with complex needs (onboarding of new, maintaining and extending current relationships)
• A good university degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant ARM experience in Private Bank set up
• CACS Papers 1 and 2
• Preferably with CMFAS Modules 1B, 5, 6A, 8A certification
• Working knowledge of T24, Olympics and TEMOS
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)

Key responsibilities

• Participate in determining the company's sales plan and strategy and conduct market intelligence and research
• Identify and expand target customer segments and industries
• Develop pricing and business models based on client needs and prepare and submit proposals to clients
• Handle and overcome objections raised by clients, and respond and follow up on client inquiries and requests
• Respond to RFQs, tenders, RFIs, etc.
• Collate and submit sales reports and analysis
• Organize and present performance to clients and/or management
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and be responsible for accounts receivable collection and bad debt resolution

skills & experience required

• Minimum 10 years of sales / business development experience in recycled / scrap metal / cathode copper
• Able to travel to overseas for work assignment
• Experience operating in a trading environment

• Comfortable being an individual contributor
• Comfortable with the remuneration pacakge = basic x 12 month + commission (based on sales)

• Handle and prepare tender submission for M&E works.
• Responsible for interpretation of specifications, compliances, terms and conditions, drawings and any other relevant document.
• Prepare tender clarifications, investigation of clarification response by communicating with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in the presentation slide, technical write up for tender interview and attendance of tender interview.
• Suggest Value Engineering solution for MEP works and any other business, if required in the tender.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• At least 7 years in tender preparation and site management experience in Building Construction Projects.
• Good knowledge in M&E works, planning capability and authorities’ compliance.
