Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and oversee the production of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure successful and efficient audit processes.

Management Reporting

• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports to provide actionable insights into business performance.
• Partner with various entities to create customized financial analyses and performance metrics.
• Present financial results and trends to senior management and other stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and cost efficiency.

Process Improvement and Systems Management

• Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Ensure robust internal controls are in place for reporting and data integrity.
• Collaborate with other departments and entities to optimize financial systems and reporting tools.

Leadership and Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a team of Finance specialists, fostering professional development and growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and strategy, to ensure alignment of financial goals and reporting processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with a strong focus on reporting.
• Experience in managing financial reporting for large or complex organizations is a plus.
