Testing & Commissioning Manager

1. Job Description:

· Developing testing & commissioning plans and procedures for SCADA systems

· Conducting site visits to ensure that SCADA systems are installed according to design specifications

· Conducting testing to ensure that the system is functioning safely and efficiently

· Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the commissioning process.

· Lead and develop the respective ownership of all activities pertaining to commissioning which will involve partial oversight of project engineers and site supervisors as it pertains to commissioning scope.

· Review and acknowledge/approve on all project documents including design drawings, equipment submittal, specifications, quality control plan and understand project requirements pertaining to start-up and commissioning compliances

· Participate in the key design reviews such as P&ID, Equipment Layout, and HAZOP to ensure that the pre-commissioning and commissioning requirements are incorporated into the design of the facilities

· Schedule and execute all the required inspections and tests are being carried out in accordance with the approved plan and keep proper documentation.

· Liaise and coordinate with system provider, contractors and authorities, to establish the testing & commissioning schedule.

· Organize and lead the integrated test meetings with internal and external parties

· Development of Test & Commissioning Plans and Integrated Test Plans

· Ensuring that all systems and components are tested in accordance with project requirements

· Analyzing test results and identifying any issues or deficiencies

· Working closely with system provider / sub-contractor, design and construction teams to resolve any technical issues during testing and commissioning

· Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including test reports and commissioning records

· Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during testing and commissioning activities

1. Job Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering and minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in testing & commissioning of SCADA system and building services
• Knowledge and experience of the Rail / Infrastructure Industry
• Experience in developing and implementing testing and commissioning plan
• Extensive knowledge of industrial standards / guidance’s / good practice
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
• Capable of reading electrical drawings, construction drawings and 3D BIM Modelling
• Good interpersonal, planning, analytical and problem-solving skill
• Able to work independently
• Knowledge in BIM / AutoCAD skills will be an advantage
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good Microsoft office knowledge and skills

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve housekeeping training programs to cover essential skills, procedures, and guest service standards.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new housekeeping team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools, skills, and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Conduct ongoing training sessions to address new procedures, equipment, and industry advancements, keeping the housekeeping team up to date.
• Develop and implement systems for evaluating the performance of housekeeping team members and identifying areas for improvement.
• Provide constructive feedback to housekeeping operation team, offering coaching and support to enhance their performance and professional development.

Experience & Education

• A minimum of Five (5) years’ experience as a housekeeper and 2 years management experience at 4 or 5-star property preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing housekeeping or similar training programs preferred.
• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and industry best practices.
• Keep complete knowledge of OSHA standards and Regulations, including all safety Standards and Evacuation procedures.
• Experience with operations in a unionized environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
• Experience with performance evaluation and feedback processes.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining exacting standards of cleanliness.
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools for training management.
