The PC Technician role involves assembling, cleaning, upgrading, and repairing computer systems, providing excellent customer service, and delivering quality workmanship. The role requires basic knowledge of computer systems, the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, and flexibility in working hours. Successful candidates must be willing to travel to different locations in Singapore.

Salary : $2600+ basic pay with travel allowance provided

Responsibilities

• Assembling computer systems: The PC Technician will be responsible for assembling new computer systems, including installing hardware and software, configuring settings, and ensuring that systems are functioning optimally.
• Cleaning computer systems: The PC Technician will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining computer systems to ensure that they are running smoothly.
• Upgrading computer systems: The PC Technician will be responsible for upgrading computer systems, including replacing old hardware with new components, updating software, and ensuring that systems are optimized for performance.
• Repairing computer systems: The PC Technician may be required to repair computer systems if they are malfunctioning, including diagnosing and fixing hardware and software issues.
• Delivering excellent customer service: The PC Technician will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, including communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and needs, and ensuring that they are satisfied with the service provided.
• Must be willing to travel around Singapore: The PC Technician must be willing to travel to different locations in Singapore to perform on-site installations, repairs, and upgrades.

Qualifications

No qualifications are needed other than basic knowledge of computer systems: The PC Technician will be expected to have a basic knowledge of computer systems, including hardware, software, and networking.

Training will be provided: The PC Technician will receive training on new technologies, computer systems, and hardware to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and carry out diagnostic analysis for trouble shooting and repair work
• Handling of measurement and detection equipment for military and homeland security
• Handle sales product enquiries
• Manage post-sales delivery of equipment
• Prepare basic reports
• Any other tasks assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Higher Nitec and/or Diploma in Electronics and/or Electrical Engineering or relevant field with 3-4 years of relevant experience
• Possess IT software installation and configuration skills will be an added advantage
