Reporting to the Director of Security Architecture & Programs, the Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all security infrastructure is online, available, and functioning properly. This may require working extra hours on an as needed basis and participate in an on-call rotation.

The engineer will be responsible for coordinating with the existing team to not only continue to use these services but expand the existing capabilities of these tools. The engineer will need to be able to review policies from various security tools and be able to recommend changes as needed.

The engineer will also be responsible for consulting with other internal teams on projects, coordinate security requirements, and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to plan, implement, manage, administer, monitor, and recommend changes for security protections and security infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and Cloud services (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, Proxies, AWS, Splunk, Endpoint Detection & Monitoring, etc.)

Responsibilities

· Maintain security orders within the premise

· Ensure safety of all staffs, clients and visitors

· Implement access and safety control

· Attend to all emergencies such as medical & fire & intruder

· Liaising with necessary department such as Police & SCDF etc during case of emergency

· To issue security passes to Contractors

Requirements

· Mandatory to have Possess Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) License

· Minimum 1 year’ experience working as a security

· Physically fit as this position requires a good amount of walkabout in yard

· A team player

· Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

· Quick to react during emergency

· Other relevant security operations certificate would be an added advantage

· Location at Gul Road, Jurong

Permanent - 6 days’ work week | 12 hours per shift| Night shift only

What You Will Be Doing

This role will be reporting into the SOC Lead based here in Singapore and you will be tasked to manage security monitoring and incident responses. You wil collect and disseminate threat intelligence while managing and optimizing security tools (SIEM, IDS, IPS, EDR).

What You Should Have

• At least 5 years of experiences in a SOC role.
• Prior experiences in Banks / Financial Services / Fintech companies will be a plus.
• Working experiences in SIEM tools and other security solutions.
• Knowledge in Cloud Technologies (AWS or Google Cloud) is a must.
• Familiar with macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Certified in CISSP, CEH or GIAC is an added bonus.
