Cyber Security, Information & Technology Risk Management
You will be a part of an independent risk management function to protect the firm’s information technology assets, including business data, from external threats and operational risks, and to facilitate the firm’s digitalisation journey in a secure manner.

What will you do as a Cybersecurity Platform Support Engineer?
- Evaluate, perform proof-of-value/proof-of-concept, design, build and implement enterprise-class cybersecurity solutions.
- Identify and recommend improvement areas in existing enterprise security architecture and tools, to address evolving cybersecurity threats.
- Align and balance business requirements with cybersecurity and IT requirements, based on the organization’s risk appetite.
- Develop integrated security operating models and documentations to ensure operational efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
- Act as a domain expert and trusted partner in CSITR; work closely with stakeholders in other groups on cybersecurity engineering related matters.
- Manage cybersecurity projects with virtual teams and ensure successful implementation to meet organisational objectives.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services or asset management industries, with minimum 7 years in Cyber Security or Information Security.
- Experience in implementing and operationalizing network security solutions (including network firewall, IDPS, web and application proxy, VPN) and endpoint security solutions (including anti-malware, host-based firewall and IPS, web browsing and email security, disk and file encryption), and associated security tools (including SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence platforms, EDR, NDR).
- Scripting and coding skills, with proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS and Azure certification.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity products for data protection (such as encryption and DLP) and vulnerability management (such as vulnerability scanners and security patch management) would be advantageous.
- Ability to produce detailed documentation, including design diagrams and process flows.
- Desire to learn, working in a diverse environment, interacting with multiple teams and functions to support strategic goals. Be a good team player and excellent communicator.
- Professional qualification in information security, such as CISSP / CISM / CEH will be advantageous.
