• Involve in the presale activities for cyber day 2, including defining the scope of cyber day 2 services, sizing the effort to support the security technologies deployed in client environment, determine what can be supported internally and what can be delivered via partnership with other parties in NCS or with sub-contractors and process standardization & improvement.
• Assist in improving the quality of service for cyber day 2 team.
• To be one of the Subject Matter Expert (or trusted technical advisor) in Identity and Access Management & PKI cyber technologies during presale and day 2 phases.
• Mentoring engineers or interns to ensure they can assist the team in executing operational tasks for projects.
• Accountable for various tasks above and provide regular update to the Practice Lead

The Product Engineer (Cyber Security) is the technical expert supporting the sales and prospecting lifecycle from pre-sales, deployment to post-sale support. The product engineer will be part of a small team trialling, evaluating and incubating new products and services for the cybersecurity services business unit, and will be intimately involved in understanding new cyber security products, understand the technical architecture of the solution, work with clients to understand and to integrate the solution into clients’ environments, and supporting them in post-sales support. The product engineer should be curious and keen in learning about, and working on new cyber security products, and work on translating them into new service offerings.

The Product Engineer is knowledgeable and specialized on several aspects (technical, procedural, operational,) in at least one of the following domains: Cloud Operations and Security; Cloud Monitoring; Security & Risk Management.

The candidate is expected to setup, design and formulate the supporting documents and establish a framework of processes and procedures for the day-to-day operations of the role and the service offering, and conduct continuous improvement for the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze and influence the customer business and technical requirements to ensure the products contribute to the overall solution for the customer’s cyber roadmap.
• Support the onboarding of the products and work closely with vendors and suppliers to onboard the products for the customer. (i.e Plan, transit, attend enablement from vendor, transfer product knowledge)
• Conduct staff enablement or training workshops for prospects
• Plan and conduct Proof of Concepts with prospects
• Plan and execute project timeline with various stakeholder to ensure project timeline are adhered to
• Work closely with vendors and customer to resolve technical or deployment issues to ensure successful deployment of the product into customer IT environment
• Work closely with customer for support on day 2 operations (including reports generations)
• Support exhibitions/tradeshows to showcase the product/solution

Job Requirements:

• Articulate and presentable
• Familiar with Windows OS and Unix OS variants
• Experience in the use, deployment, and configuration of CSPs cloud native security tools, especially for AWS and Azure, will be advantageous
• At least five years working experience within IT Security, cloud and networking
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and models
• Possess basic skills in project management and keeping to tight project timeline
• Minimally 5 years of experience working on IT security tools
• IT security industry certifications are highly favourable

This role is focused on the automation and orchestration of security processing within the ST Engineering SOC environment. Responsibilities:

• Proactive and creative creation of automated workflow to reduce manual processes and to meet client requirements.
• Updating playbook documentation to ensure all creation, updates, and changes are recorded.
• Work closely with the operation team, customer success manager, and threat detection team to ensure that the input and output of the playbook meets the requirements.
• Perform certain amount of scripting to create unique integration or workflow (preferably python).
• Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all issues in relation to automation.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and/or tools to ensure highest level of quality, including documentation, mentoring and training sessions.
• Assist in any ad-hoc tasks when necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience with SOAR, SIEM and other security product within a SOC environment.
• Knowledge on cyber attack-vectors, security threats and mitigation techniques.
• Possesses relevant professional certifications.
• Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Understanding of or exposure to multiple programming languages is a plus.
• Knowledge and/or experience in reverse engineering of software is a plus.
• 1 to 3 years with SOC environment preferred.
• Good knowledge / experience of ITSM process 2-5 years of hands on experience (Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM / Sec ops module will be an advantage).
• Good knowledge / experience for scripting python with 2-5 years of hand on experience in using python (Knowledge of using Palo Alto XSOAR will be an advantage).
• Possess and has experience in problem solving skill set with good methodology of analysing an issues / problem, finding the root cause and solving the issues/problem.
• Possess a mindset and curiosity on how to automate work flow and improve process within SOC (Candidates with SOC background preferred).
• Possess ability to work in a fast-moving environment with short turnaround time.
• A good team player with keen interest in process flow and prefer automation way of life rather than manual work way of life.
• Requires working after office hours / activation to resolve SOAR issues.
