Position Summary

The Infrastructure Lead is a mid level tech lead role responsible for driving transformation initiatives around the infrastructure and network domains at BCS. The incumbent will work closely with the existing BAU teams to understand the current landscape, identify areas for improvement, and lead the design and implementation of solutions.

This role involves optimizing and uplifting the capabilities of critical infrastructure and network systems, including tools like SolarWinds, AWS, OBM, ELK, Ansible, Device42, Tenable, and SailPoint. The Infrastructure Lead is expected to resolve existing challenges, enhance system performance, and ensure that all infrastructure and network components align with the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure and Network Optimization / automation :

• Lead the strategic uplift and optimization of the organization's infrastructure and network systems
• Address existing issues and optimize the performance of tools and systems, including SolarWinds, AWS, OBM, ELK, Ansible, Device42, Tenable, and SailPoint
• Ensure that all infrastructure components are aligned with the business's long-term objectives and compliance requirements
• Experience in building Configuration management for Infra from early stages

5. Capacity and Performance Management:

• Monitor and manage the capacity and performance of infrastructure and network systems, ensuring they meet the demands of the business
• Conduct regular assessments and tuning to optimize system performance and ensure scalability

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, RHEL Certified System Administrator, Oracle Certified System Administrator, or similar are highly desirable
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical lead role within the infrastructure and network domains
• Proven track record of leading successful infrastructure and network transformation initiatives

Position Summary

Requirements

· Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

· Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or a related area

· Proven experience in managing vendor relationships within the payments industry including vendor performance management and dispute resolution

· Strong understanding of regulatory and legal requirements related to IT vendor management

Your primary role is to carry out day-to-day operation and maintenance of AV, VC and recording studio facilities and working with various stakeholders for successful work delivery of meetings, events, webinars, recordings, video production etc.

You will also have the opportunity to assist in the planning and execution of various improvement and upgrading works on building facilities. These could involve feasibility studies, technical specifications, preparation of procurement document, work supervision, system testing and commissioning and defect rectifications.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and attend to all requests to support department internal and external major meetings, webinars, events, recordings and video production. Understand user’s requirement and provide technical support accordingly.

• Plan, set up and operate the control room and studio equipment for live events or recordings.

• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to help facilitate the creation and post production of multimedia content.

• Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure the systems are in good working condition, whilst keeping an up-to-date inventory for audit.

• Oversee various AV contractors to ensure they deliver their services in accordance with the respective contracts and service level agreements. Manage and administer contracts and assess the contractors’ performance regularly (e.g. verification of service rendered and payment).

• Manage and assist in procurement works including but not limited to drafting of contract specifications, seeking funding approval, tender calling, tender evaluation and seeking approval for tender award.

• Assist the Team Lead in managing a team of technicians.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Media / Mas Communications / Audio Visual or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in broadcasting and live production or AV and VC operation and maintenance with supervisory responsibility.

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, Creative Suite and photographic skills

• Good understanding of hardware (cameras, video switchers, lighting, sound) and software (TriCaster, OBS, vMix) needed to run professional videos and live streams.

• Experience with filming equipment and studio production, with working experience on production sets or part of a production team.

• Experience in Project Management of large-scale AV implementations will be an advantage.

• Proficient and experience with AV and VC systems (Crestron/Extron/Cisco/Bosch) will be an advantage.

You will be part of a team in the Corporate Services Department responsible for the operation and maintenance of building facilities. Responsibility:

• To operate and run day to day AV and VC system for virtual and physical events.

• Plan and manage schedule for multiple events (including multiple days events), to ensure setup and tests are done at least 30 mins before event begins.

• Responsible in ensuring AV and VC system are in good working condition by conducting predictive and preventive maintenance, daily, weekly and monthly routine inspection of equipment.

• Produce weekly report of the maintenance checks for filing and checking.

• Monitor and attend to maintenance service requests, investigate and initiate corrective actions for any service and equipment breakdown, or fault detected during routine check, servicing and maintenance.

• Maintain an asset inventory with proper labelling as well as problem and incident reports.

• Ensure the updating of the engineering systems information databases (such as drawings, operation and maintenance manual, etc.).
