RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacturing/ Production Line setup, pre-qualification and maintenance.
Provide technical support to customer related to assembly/ manufacturing.
Develop process and generate work instruction.
Review drawing, customer specifications and Bill of Materials cleanup.
Assembly, test, and commissioning of highly automated industrial equipments.
Train, certify and monitor assembly technicians.
Develop necessary technical competencies and equipment capabilities to meet operational performance targets
Work and collaborate with Production to achieve the desired quality and output
Conduct MRB to review non-conformance parts disposition.
Design/Fabricate tools, jigs and fixtures.
In-process yield/reject/scrap rate monitoring.
Lead and drive the team to participate in all continuous improvement projects related to cost, quality, utilisation & productivity using Six-sigma or similar applicable technology such as Cpk, FMEA, Lean etc
Any other duties assigned by his/her superior / Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum three years of relevant experience in Equipment Manufacturing Industry preferably wire bonding Equipment (Ball Bonding/Wedge Bonding/Die Bonding)
Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting techniques
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with good knowledge of SPC
Good leadership / presentation / communication / team building skills
Ability to work proactively and to identify issues and propose solutions
Able to design and implement effective systems, processes and informatio/ reporting mechanisms
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and ISO system

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop new procedures and Best Known Methods (BKMs) to service new products. Contribute to the FMECA process.
2. Participate in or own first chamber Build & Test in Apps lab. Solve issues, or work with Engineering to address issues identified. Work with Manufacturing to develop procedures and participate (if required) on New Product final test
3. Partner with Quality & Reliability (Q&R) group to review and address Top Field Issues. Participate in or own CAPA process. Conduct or facilitate Failure Analysis (FA) if needed
4. Develop and document procedures to install (start-up), retrofit and maintain the product (Technical Product Manuals)
5. Develop new procedures, Customer Engineering Notices (CENs), Internal Service Bulletins (ISBs) and troubleshooting guides as required
6. Collect process and qualification data to create product Best Known Methods (BKMs)
7. Develop initial training package for new products and work with Global Technical Training (GTT) to develop training class. Train Customer Engineers (CEs), Process Engineers (PSEs) and Technical Product Support (TPS) assigned to customers who will receive ELS Shipments, prior to shipping
8. Identify new parts that require to be stocked by AGS and work with them to ensure parts are stocked in correct locations

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage customer expectation and issues with software releases providing a prioritized list of requests to business unit per platform. Independently learn and investigate customer's high value problem (HVP), systematic bug or systematic software failures.
2. Troubleshoots a variety of difficult software problems and interface with engineering teams to improve product quality.
3. Interfaces with external customers for requirements analysis and schedule.
4. Manage software proliferation at customer sites. Deliver software implementations and manage customer to achieve project objectives.
5. Performs customer specific software testing and analysis on bugs and enhancements.
6. Track software performance and quality at external customer sites.
7. Provide on-going training to customers and customer engineers (CE) for technical products and systems issues. Deliver updates and reports to managers, partners and peers.
8. Assist in training junior level engineers in departmental procedures, corporate procedures, and detailed product operation. Lead work groups and troubleshooting forums.

• Overall project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations.

• Monitoring progress and identifying critical activities to expedite smooth progress of works on site to meet targets.

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors e.g. Consultants and Sub- Contractors/Suppliers for the flawless execution of all projects.

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

• Ensure that work are executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure resource availability and allocation.

• Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

• Manage changes to projects’ scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Requirements:

• Proven at least 3 years of working experience in project management in the public and private residential, government and commercial building projects.

• Solid technical knowledge related to structural, architectural (finishing) or M&E works.

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent team player with ability to meet tight deadlines.
