Site Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing construction site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and monitor construction progress, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan.
• Oversee daily operational aspects of the project, including manpower planning, progress tracking, master schedule preparation, and cost control.
• Address and resolve site challenges such as delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies effectively.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve site issues promptly.
• Implement and enforce safe, efficient, and cost-effective construction methodologies, ensuring compliance with project standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project or site management within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing construction site operations effectively.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel to various sites as needed.
• Independent, diligent, and meticulous professional with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
• Highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Position: Project Engineer (Civil and Structural)

Responsibilities:

· To assist the Project Manager on project site work by focusing mainly on the aspects of construction, safety quality management, and project coordination of projects and maintenance works and to ensure smooth work progression and completion within target time and budget.

· Prepare method statements, design plans, and specifications.

· Liaise with the stakeholders (e.g. clients, authorities, consultants) on permits, drawings, and design matters.

· Develop projected milestone and operational plans for different phases of the project which includes scheduling, monitoring and reviewing of the work of others.

· Determine project requirements and estimate resources such as manpower, materials and equipment.

· Ensure that site works are executed accordingly based on approved detailed drawings, interpreted plans, and requirements of relevant authorities.

· Ensure project meets dateline/schedule, safety & quality standards of client’s requirements. Support contract administration and construction inspection by reviewing final plans, specifications, special conditions, and agreements.

· Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil and Structural).
• Familiar and experience in ISO certifications and WSH.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written in English.
• Good skills in using MS Office application, AUTOCAD and SolidWorks.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or Mechanical equivalent.
• Experience in handling both consultants and clients will be added advantage
• Strong working knowledge of relevant codes of practice, building regulations, and authority submission and approval procedures.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritise deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Review specifications, clarifications, and drawings.
• Schedule works, requisition materials, control costs, and supervise projects.
• Coordinate with Structural, Architectural, and M&E teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure timely progress and compliance with safety and regulations.
• Conduct QA/QC and enforce safety on-site.
• Prepare progress and handover reports.
• Handle additional assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering with PEB recognition.
• Working experience in A1/A2 building companies is preferred.

• Advanced skills using company software would be highly advantageous
• Design thinking for product inventions and enhancements
