We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a background in civil engineering, specifically experienced in Road Infrastructure Works, to oversee and manage various phases of road construction projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and met.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control Proven experience in managing road infrastructure projects, ideally within LTA or similar agencies.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management techniques.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
• Prefer experience with large-scale infrastructure projects involving roads, highways, or transportation

• Source for quotation for materials and service
• Analysis and evaluation of price comparison and costing summary
• Cost planning, estimation and measurement of quantities
• Responsible for claims, variation orders, budget & cost control
• Prepare settlement for final account
• Manage Contracts administration
• Handle issues including extension of time, terms and condition, loss and expenses claim etc.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in QS or Engineering.
• At least 8-10 years of QS experience in the construction of Civil or Building projects (For senior role)
• At least 5 years of QS experience in the construction of Civil or Building projects (For Quantity Surveyor role)
• Good knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Contracts Administration.
• Good time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage particular tasks in charge.
