Job Description:

• Takes charge of the entire engineering department, leading a team as they complete various projects
• To assist in site supervision works
• Coordinate internally with inter-department and externally with clients & consultants
• Coordinating for the project planning, documentation, and execution of works on-site
• Coordination, supervision & monitoring of the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering
• Coordinate with the contractor and suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required
• Produce weekly site progress reports and necessary submission
• Attend meetings, and conduct site inspections on work progress to ensure quality control in accordance with authority requirements.
• To carry out daily implementation of works at the site with assistance from fellow supervisors and foremen.
• To plan and ensure all implementations are carried out in accordance with the Construction program.
• Carry out daily discussions with the project team and fellow colleagues to ensure works are carried out smoothly and no re-work or clashes with other trade works.
• Study all related construction drawings and prepare and raise any RFI’s required early before implementation of the actual works.
• To prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure the smooth transition of works.
• Ensure all necessary inspections in accordance with the client’s requirements are carried out accordingly, correctly, and timely.
• The plan and sequences of the construction operations are in accordance with the Project Quality Plan. Attends all necessary site progress meetings, and internal meetings as & when required.
• Keep track of submission status like shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements & all other technical submissions.
• To carry out resource planning, machinery allocations, and equipment management on a day-to-day basis to ensure works at the site are carried out smoothly.
• Coordinates and maintains constant communications with fellow colleagues from other departments like architectural, technical, and planning.
• Liaise with the client’s supervisory department for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports, and maintaining necessary records at the site.

Scope of works:

· Contract administration of secured projects.

· Responsible to prepare necessary documentations from shortlisting to award of sub contracts, process include evaluation, comparison and recommendation.

· Preparation and submission of progress claims to clients.

· Evaluate and prepare progress payments to subcontractors / suppliers / service providers.

· Liaison with client or consultant’s Quantity Surveyors.

· Maintain constant liaison with project staffs especially Project Director.

· Monitor records and manage all variation orders.

· Provide necessary documentations for preparation of final accounts with the client / subcontractors / suppliers / service providers.

· Always ensure confidentiality and safe guards of controlled documents.

· Possess the ability to negotiate with client’s Quantity Surveyors during final accounts and or as and when any variation order arises.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or other related disciplines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Words, Excels.
• Proficient in PDF measurement or any other measurement software will be added advantages.
• To base at the project site office, West.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Driving within and Outside Construction Site,
2. Disciplined, Responsible, punctual and Reliable,
3. Minimum 3 years Heavy Vehicle Driving Experience ,
4. Familiar with Singapore Roads and comply to Traffic Regulations,
5. To Perform all Duties assigned by the Supervisor,
6. To maintain the vehicles condition, perform basic preventive maintenance,
7. must possess Class 4 Driving Licence and No demerit points,
8. Conduct inspection daily to ensure vehicle is safe.
