Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from inception to handover. Develop detailed project plans, establish timelines, define milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
- Manage project budgets meticulously. Forecast costs, identify potential overruns, and implement strategies to stay within financial constraints.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Ensure open communication channels, proactively address concerns, and negotiate solutions that satisfy all parties.
- Guide and motivate a team of operational staff. Provide clear direction, delegate tasks, offer timely feedback, and resolve conflicts to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
- Uphold the highest standards of workmanship. Conduct regular site inspections, enforce safety regulations, and ensure full compliance with industry codes and best practices.
- Anticipate potential challenges and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions and delays. Proactively escalate issues and propose solutions.
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders. Present insights on project status, potential bottlenecks, and recommended actions. Maintain thorough project documentation.
Requirements:
- Any Bachelor's degree (Civil Engineering or a related field preferred).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in managing building construction projects, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
- Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies and civil-related software such as AutoCAD.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to finding innovative solutions.
- Willing to work in different shifts as required including the weekends (when required).
