• Supervise the renovation and repair of damaged building components to ensure proper refurbishing
• Hire and supervise the activities of contractors to ensure they carry out their job responsibilities
• Oversee the management and allocation of space in a building premises.
• Conduct surveys to identify building availability and suitability for lease.
• Carry out financial forecasts to predict potential business opportunities for a company.
• Utilize performance management systems to monitor and determine level of productivity and achievement of set goals.
• Analyze costs of production/supply to identify way to reduce expenses and maximize profits.
• Prepare and manage budgets to achieve set targets and objectives.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or solve urgent issues arise within manufacturing plant and office building premises in relation to soft and hard facilities management.
• Maintain accurate record of all relevant financial and non-financial details
• Conduct negotiations with vendors and clients to establish the terms, conditions and price of contract services.
• Review operational costs to make appropriate expense adjustments necessary for optimal running of a business.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Responsible for executing the company projects in mechanical & electrical works in building construction which covers:

· Review project specifications and technical clarifications

· Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings.

· Responsible for carrying out M&E technical meetings and resolving technical issues with record.

· Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies

· Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation

· Supervise and assist the M & E works and coordinate with project teams, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters

· Ensure timely and smooth progress of works

· Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety & environmental regulations are complied with

· Identify discrepancies between M&E, Structural, ID, Architectural and in house project teams’ provisions

· Work closely with the in-house teams, consultants, and subcontractors on technical and drawing matters.

· Carry out inspection of MEP works prior to concreting or subsequent construction works.

· Compliance with all necessary standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations

· Oversee all related M&E issues on site

Requirements

· Minimum 10 years of experience as M&E Engineer in construction related field

· Possess a degree from universities in mechanical or electrical engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineer Board to be overall in charge of all M&E trades

· Possess strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experiences.

· Use of Autocad/BIM Revit would be an advantage

· Proficient in using Microsoft Office

· Good communicative skills with bilingual, able to interact with people of all levels and China counterpart
