Job Role Description

The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project specifications, WSHE regulations, authority compliance, and fostering effective communication with client representatives and consultants.

M&E Systems

Job Description & Requirements

1) Have working experience of SS, MS And Alum

(especially laser cutting and bending) with architecture detaining.

2) Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.

3) Preparing both habd sketches and detailed drawings with AutoCAD (2D/3D)

4) Follow by instructions of architects and engineers.

5) Corporation is exxential for preparing shop drawings, cutting lists with the Factory and Project Teams to ensure successful completion of assignment within the given timeline.

• Support the Contracts Manager in overseeing and guiding a team of project QS
• Assist in preparing cost budget, prepare cash flow for project, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Assist in the extension of time and costs claims
• Work closely with the project team to ensure the timely award of subcontractors and suppliers
• Communicate with the technical team to ensure that quotations comply with specifications and the method of construction
• Produce quantity measurement within the targeted timeline
• Prepare and call quotations, including analyzing and evaluating for costing of tender; or negotiate and award of subcontracts for the project
• Review and prepare agreements for award to subcontractors and suppliers
• Certify and evaluate progress work done, including contract administration for variations for both subcontract and main contract works.
• Assess and submit monthly progress claims, and recommend subcontractor’s monthly progress payment
• Finalise subcontract and main contract’s final account.
• Assist in project tendering.

REQUIREMENTS/ COMPETENCIES

• Degree/Diploma in Projects & Facilities Management or Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with A2 Building Contractors in GCB, MOE, HDB, Industrial and etc.
• Highly motivated, self-driven with an initiative to work independently and a good mentor to the QS team. Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong negotiation, and interpersonal skills and a team player
• Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD and the ability to learn new specialist software
